I must have gotten lucky judging by all the naysayers' reviews of this Mickey D's on Cottman Avenue at Roosevelt Blvd., in N.E. Philly. But, rather than being disappointed by its performance, we were actually pleasantly surprised by how good their food and service were. We were in a rush to return home after a large shopping excursion to the Asian supermarket nearby, and opted for rapid food from the only drive through in sight. We ordered a quarter pounder w cheese, chicken nuggets, fries and drink, took possession within minutes, and continued our drive home to Bucks County. We immediately noticed the heat coming off the fries In the open top paper sack. First sampling was of perfectly done Frenchies - hot, crisp and addicting. The burger was also just off the steel and settling nicely onto the bun. It reached my mouth in optimal condition, with even the onions soft and translucent and the pickle stuck to the cheese so it couldn't fall out. It was like the dream burger from the adverts, except this baby was for real. Once in a lifetime! Naturally, it wasn't all ideal, as the nuggets had a processed food texture. I knew I was awake. Still, this was as close to amazing as McDonalds ever gets, and the moment required recognition. Now that we know it can be done, why should anyone settle for any less? read more

So slow waited 45min for small order go to a different store made my order wrong once to

This is by far the worst McDonald's in this area! They're extremely slow, 30 minutes in a drive through constantly! Never have the orders correct. Management argues with you even when you show them proof that the order is incorrect. When they "fix" the order it's still incorrect. I've given this place several opportunities over the past 6 months but I'll never return here! Go to the ones on Frankford Ave to save time and a headache!!! read more

This McDonald's is the nastiest I've ever been in. I had a mobile order, the line was long so I went in to pick up my food inside...well it was a nightmare. It was drug addicts EVERYWHERE!! I seen a worker in the back on her cell phone I mean phone in her hand as if she was home....with no uniform on handling the food orders. I had to cancel that order before I digest hepatitis A,B and C. I told the Manager in training that I simply can't eat here and to please cancel my order. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!! The Health Department needs to be called. read more

The worst mcdonald's spot ever !!! Waiting line was insane , waited for like 20 minutes just to pick up a mobile order. My burger was without salad and tomatoes.. read more

This has to be the worst McDonald's around, they never get our order correct. I'm not kidding when I say never, the order usual consists of two items and one is always wrong and not a little wrong nothing even close to what was ordered. Maybe management should look into this but I'm thinking they just don't care.. it's been going on for a long time. read more

If I could rate lower I would but this my 2nd time going to this McDonald's 1st. Experience was like 5 years ago I ordered from this location on Uber eats and ordered a shamrock shake not knowing it wasn't in season plus I ordered 2 milkshakes with my meals and when my food came I was missing a milkshake and the shamrock shake I called and they said that the shamrock was not in season and I said what about the other milkshake I asked if they could just refund me for the shamrock and send another driver for my milkshake and he said I'm sorry and hung up 2nd experience was yesterday me my daughter and wife went through the drive through and ordered a crispy chicken sandwich and some other items, when it was time to pay for the food the person ask me did I order the crispy chicken sandwich and I said yes and they end up charging me for the wrong order so I had to wait until the manager came to refund me instead they kept trying to charge my card took more money then they should have and she gave me my card and said it kept declining but when I checked my statements it took $30 total and I had to drive off with no food plus the manager was very rude I overheard her yelling that she had to refund me will never eat here again read more

As an Uber driver McDonalds is my go to lunch stop. On Sunday pulled into this McDonalds for a quick lunch. First thing I noticed the place had about 3 customers in it at 12:30 PM. I turned to use the men's room and a Janitor mopping the section told me the section was closed. I told him only wanted to use the restroom. He got indignant and said this section is closed. He had an exit door propped open right next to the men's room. I asked him if I walked outside and came in that door would it be okay. NO!! I just cleaned in there. Then an employee walked by me and went in the ladies room. He says she is allowed because she works there. That's when I blew up and told him off. He was only keeping me out because I was white. I told him I know what you are doing. With that he walked away. The Mgr never came out and when I entered the restroom it was filthy. I eat in McDonalds 4-5 times a week. You have lost a loyal customer forever. read more

Good morning ; This McDonald's is the worst I've seen yet there is no leadership or management. My food was cold , the manager allowed a employee to converse with me about why my food is cold and that they just opened. How can you open with cold food. On 3/31/23 a little past noon my boyfriend and I went through the drive through at cottman and the Blvd. It has multiple lanes so we chose one and waited to order. And waited ..and waited. Nobody was answering us so we pulled up to the window, where we were, quite rudely, informed that the other employee was in the bathroom and that's why nobody answered. All we wanted was two Frappes so we asked if she could just please place the order. The employee, a younger female, who just seemed annoyed and was rude throughout the entire interaction, said " nope. You gotta go back around" and I started to ask her something but before I could even get a word out she rolled her eyes and kept talking over me , raising her voice and telling me to go back around. At this point my boyfriend was so upset we just left. I will never go back to this location, and the girl who was doing drive through at this time should be reprimanded, if not for anything else, for just being an unkind and rude person to paying customers. read more

Just stop by here again... I have previously rote a review on this location before... and I'm giving it again 2 stars because I went threw drive thru and the same as always the staff there is completely ignorant forget are on their phones have a attitude and even snatch the money.... I asked the young lady what was my total she didn't answer me said because I had coupons she first needs to scan them, secondly and most importantly as I was ordering my family our meals she was rushing me to place the order I was cutting coupons as well as hearing my children tell me what they wanted as I was placing the order she would quickly stop taking the order again and they said you done! Like who says something like to a customer? This locations really needs to be bought by a new owner bc this franchise has been there way to long for it to maintain so messy for so long. read more

By far.. the worst. After waiting a 1/2 hours( only 5 cars in front of us) Manager is Incompetent which is probably why the staff is... what we ordered and what we received were 2 different things. After arguing at the window with the incompetent manager we had to pull over and walk in to get rest of food which took another 15 min. The food was cold upon receipt... ridiculous... truly poorly managed and staffed.. read more

Some racist fucking people in there! Let someone else dine in and chose not to say a word I ask the counter lady if dine in is open she said yes. He walks out and confronts me. This McDonald's is such a mess at one point it was under great management but something happens. My kids enjoyed coming to this one and so did I. But now they are so rude they look really young. McDonald's - A McDonald's burger - Burgers Near Me - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

HORRIBLE. We waited 30 min to be told sorry credit card machine is down.... Then said sorry can't help that.

Terrible! Okay, maybe I'm exaggerating, but seriously, the people working here are dumber than George W. Bush, and that's saying something. I ordered a PLAIN McDouble, and when I got the burger, their was a receipt taped to the wrapper that said "Plain McDouble". But when I got home and took off the top part of the bun to add ketchup, what did I find? Pickles and onions! I was so pissed off, because I hate almost every kind of food. Everything has to be plain for me. Even after I removed the pickles and onions, the burger still tasted like pickles and onions. This isn't the first time I had this problem. Once it happened at the McDonald's at Castor and Glenwood, but at this McDonald's, it's happened during at least half my trips there. Did you notice that I gave this place two stars instead of one? That's because I also bought a $1 ice cream cone, which had more ice cream than a $1.25 cone from Mr. Softee. The ice cream and the french fries are good, believe it or not. It's surprising that the employees even remember to show up to work! You're lucky that you offer that $1 ice cream cone, McDonald's, or you would have gotten yourself a one-star review. And by the way, if you are reading this, Mr. Manager (although you're probably just in your office watching TV), I hope you do something about this barn you have the nerve to call a burger joint. Good day to you, sir. read more

WORST! (Drake Voice) Came here at 3am on a Saturday night and waited for over 45 minutes for food. The car in front of us waited forever as well with no communication from staff. The girl at the window was visibly high on drugs and just kept joking about the car in front of us complaining about the wait. She said "Did they want a sandwich with no meat?" as if waiting this long was normal. Thennnnnn....they asked for the receipt because they had no idea what we ordered and we were the only ones in the drive thru at that point. When the food finally came, it was missing fries. read more
