The best thing about being one of the only people in the entire world to have Filet-o-Fish be their go-to order at McDonald's is the fact that my burgers are nearly always freshly made! (Plus, I don't have to feel too guilty about eating at McDonald's regarding my caloric intakes for the day!)
~ Atmosphere:
Not great, but exactly what you'd expect with a lot of the scummy people who smell like tobacco walking about Newport's high street. I would've much rather had taken my meal for takeaway, but needed some place to kill time before my bus arrived.
~ Customer Service:
Quite good. Although it was busy and there was only one employee at the counter, the man was very efficient with taking orders and serving customers as quickly as possible. Plus, he didn't sacrifice any friendliness in doing so either as he greeted everyone and was very courteous.
~ Food:
Great for McDonald's! Like I said, since I order Filet-O-Fish it came out really fresh. The fish patty was still piping hot since it was fresh out of the fryer rather than it being a burger that sat on a hot plate for ages. However, like with all fast food chains if you've had one McDonald's you've had them all. The food quality is pretty standard.

You get what you expect with McDonald's, and this branch certainly does the trick. Decent service, standard McDonald's food, but the sketchy clientele makes eating here a bit uncomfortable. read more
