Love them or hate them McDonalds is the king of fast food without question... with In-N-Out Burger coming in a close, real close second. On a hot summer day their Frozen Strawberry Lemonade is super tasty and their Crispy Chicken Club and Southern Style Chicken Sandwichs are great. Although I avoid their burgers, preferring to avoid any sort of mystery meat, McDonald's still serves up a lot of burgers too. With something for everyone and a cheap price tag, may not be particularly good for you but it sure does taste good sometimes! This location off Dixie Highway is small, without much seating, but is pretty clean inside and the staff was friendly. read more

I have been to McDonald's in more than 10 foreign countries and every state in the Union, and this one is by far the worst. The service is so bad that although I live directly across the street from them, I now drive a couple of miles out of my way to use another location. They claim to be open 24 hours. Do not believe it. I work at night and on several occasions I have decided to try to get something to eat between 3 am and 6 am. I go to the drive-through, and there are employees inside who tell me through the speaker that they are not serving. On far too many occasions, they are accepting cash only, but no one tells you this, even by means of a simple sign until you have waited in line. They rarely have even standard menu items that one would expect would be popular. Finally, they are the "kings" of long wait times during the day, only to have you pull over and wait longer at the drive through after they have taken your money. In my last four attempted visits, my order has been incorrect three times, and on two of those occasions I was sold expired milk because nobody bothered to check it. I have simply given up on this location. Sad to say, there is a McDonald's about two miles south of them on US 1 that is the very model of efficiency and good service. Why sad? Because I have to drive past this train wreck of a so-called "restaurant" to get to the good one. If I owned this location, none of these people would have a job. I'd just fire them all and start over, beginning with the managers. I really do wish they were better at their jobs so I could patronize them, but unfortunately going there has simply become a huge waste of time. read more

My hubby and I went to this McDonald's after a long day around 11:40pm. Thinking of my oreo mcflurry and fries.... First I arrive and there are literally 7 cars in line. 7 cars!!! I created a Yelp account just to warn people of this McDonalds. That's how bad it is. Anytime after like 10pm they just don't care. You will wait in the drive thru at least 15 minutes just to order your food. I don't know if they are understaffed at night or they really just don't care, but they are the worst. The only reason I keep coming back is because they are walking distance from where I live. I work late and they're the only option I have, but they disappoint every time. Do not go here around 4am because that's when the worse customer service is around in this location. When I got to the drive thru there was no one to help me. I get inside and I am being ignored by the Manager who is talking to a friend. When her friend left she ignored me. Then she walked passed me to talk again to her friend that left and I said out loud "Excuse me, is the drive thru open and the girl at the drive thru finally talked to me and said they were closed. This is a 24 hour open location yet they were with the door open and not serving anyone. i usually never care about the other consumers i share a public space with, even if its homeless people just looking to rest in some a/c. i understand theres gonna be some weirdos every now and then at fast food places, and some loud obnoxious people. i get all that, and thats perfectly fine, they have just as much of right to be their as i do and as long as their not disrupting the peace they can do pretty much what they want, no problem for me whether i find it annoying or not. hygiene is also very important in any food service joint, but i understand that some tables and some floors arent always gonna be spotless. im not a picky person by any means, ill usually eat anywhere if the food is decent. never in my life have i walked into a store, looked around and said" nope, im eating somewhere else". this has got to be the worst managed public space i have ever seen in my life. Not even 5 seconds after getting out of my car, i'm being approached by aggressive homeless people begging for money or a meal of some sort. and it gets even worse as you walk inside, the place is basically a homeless shelter, with barely any room to sit in. the floors were smudged, the tables were dirty, it reeked of body oder. There is no control of who gets to come in and out of this place or how long they can stay. The drive through is no better, as you get more homeless people literally asking for food as your ordering through the speaker, but your the immoral person for not wanting to give them another meal after you had done so the previous 5 times. Theres your productive homeless person who tries to earn their money by doing street acts of some sort, or literally just asking politely. and then theres your aggressive beggars who give you a dirty look when you say no, and this mcdonald's store is filled with them. i dont know how much management can control who gets to walk and stay at their store, but hygiene is something you can control, and this place was absolutely filthy. again, im not a picky person, so it shocked me when i chose to make the extra 10 min drive to the next mcdonald's. i was extremely uncomfortable eating there due to the filth and the company they keep. And im not sure how much there is they can do to fix it. i feel sorry for the employees, i wouldnt want to much work either when multiple homeless men are barking comments at you the whole day.
