We had the pleasure of dining here our last evening in Italy, and wow, was it a meal we will never…read moreforget. We made reservations and showed up promptly at 7:30pm which is when it opens, and we were the first ones there for about 30 minutes until more parties came in. First, we love that this is a family run restaurant. The wife helped serve us and explain what all the dishes were, and the husband is the chef. They mentioned they opened the restaurant seven years ago. We came in wanting to do the five course tasting, but five turned into TWELVE once the chef found out we are from the States and wanted us to taste test more dishes! We had an incredible amount of food and in the end, we had to loosen our belts. We also had three different wines throughout the meal (started with Prosecco, then red wine, and finally a sweet sparking wine). It was so fun seeing each new course and having the chef come out between courses to ask us what we thought. The experience was so fun and intimate, plus it allowed us to try authentic dishes to the region and not just your stereotypical Italian food. My personal favorites were the eggplant starter dish (balsamic vinegar used in this dish was delicious) and the dessert (a cake with mascarpone and strawberries). In the end, we were here for about two hours. Would definitely recommend dining here and trying it for yourself!

They are expanding the dining area behind the main building and renovating what was once a carriage house into a cozy dining space and wine bar. I can't wait to return again to see how it looks this summer! The pizza is delicious, risotto with mushrooms, sooo good!
