Really poor albeit consistently poor service. I've never seen a place, especially a McDonald's completely mess up orders. Not just a little bit, but complete orders are wrong or missing. The most recent, and definitely last time ordering from this location, was a delivery through skip the dishes, I was tracking or driver on the app, and the poor fella was waiting at the restaurant for over 20 minutes. When we finally received our order(s), We received 1 meal of two, but it wasn't the meal that either of us had ordered..fortunately skip the dishes took care of everything, and thank goodness, because according to their reviews on this very service, you can't get ahold of a manager if you try.. read more

Went to McDonald's drive thru they took ten minutes to answer at drive thru rider Pannell and husband got threatened that he was driving too fast by McDonald's worker and he would call cops and then we got to next window and got wrong drinks and then told them I didn't order red slush I ordered the blue slush and they remade my slush was WARM!!! I went to two different locations in Med Hat and neither had a functional smoothie machine, one didn't have hot chocolate either. Worker at Redcliff drive didn't listen even though we stated our point multiple times. Ended up leaving the drive thru in frustration of poor service and lack of functional machinery for beverages. Got to Dunmore Road and wait to find out their smoothie machine was broken but at least they had hot chocolate. Fries were hard and cold when we got our food. Service wasn't friendly either. But I don't blame them since I've heard how badly the employees are treated and often mentally abused out of the company. Owners deserve to have their franchise revoked. Sorry. read more

I ordered a medium coffee and two crispy chicken snack wraps. The total came out to 11$ and I asked why, the cashier told me that they had changed the pricing and made the chicken as an add on to the wraps... Ok. In my order they gave me a small coffee, one crispy chicken snack wrap, one grilled snack wrap (which I hate) and a single grilled chicken patty in a box. I went to get my right order and they gave me a medium coffee, but did nothing for the chicken patty that I hadn't wanted at all and the extra money that they made me spend on it... read more

Nine times out of ten the food I ordered is wrong, and they seldom offer to replace or fix it. I went through the drive thru and ordered a regular iced coffee, I tasted it and told the lady at the window it was vanilla and she argued and told me she put regular syrup in and then closed the window. The food at the other McDonald's on Dunmore road is much better, and the staff is much more friendlier. It's worth the extra time to make it across town (I live nearer to the Redcliff Drive location). read more

Absolutely horribly slow "fast" food place. 3 times I've gone here and each time have waited upwards of 25 minutes for food that arrives cold consistently. Today was the icing on the cake though -- I guess this is the ONLY McDonalds location in Canada that does their changeover from breakfast to lunch at 10:30 am instead of 11. We arrived at 10:32 to sit in the drivethrough for over 10 minutes before even placing our order only to be told they only offered hotcakes, burritos and BLTs after 10:30. After saying no, we were forced to sit in the drivethrough for an additional 10 minutes while the 4 cars in front of us (we noticed the one directly in front also did not order anything) waited to get through. When I went inside to complain to the manager, I was joined by a woman who was also in the drivethrough who got frozen hotcakes given to her. The manager offered to replace her hotcakes "free of charge" -- pardon me but she already paid for HOTcakes, so I should expect they would be absolutely free of charge. The manager told us that they do their change-over earlier than other locations, and when I suggested they have signage indicating that, she said she would ask. When I go to McDonalds (which thankfully isn't often, and while subsequently be even less after today) my expectations aren't high, but they are to be served in a timely manner and that they adhere to the same policies that I expect at other locations, not an arbitrary change in breakfast hours just to be unique. This McDonald's is the worst one I have ever been to , several times wrong orders and low quality food has been produced . The most recent and last time I will ever enter this location .. a new girl was training which was fine the order was slow to place she accidentally erased it ,unfortunate but I gave her and the manager the order again I was very patient .. I had added bacon on a breakfast sandwich and it was difficult for them to enter it. Anyways we had ordered two meals and only received one without the added bacon and only one hash brown. The issue after this was when the manager was told he said we didn't pay for the hasbrown I said ok whatever and I didnt get the added bacon so he then replies with yes you did !!! Wow great customer service , I don't normally complain but this was beyond rude and I wasn't about to start a fight with Amrit the manager .. I hope some people actually boycott this un friendly place however likely no one would read a review on Mcdonalds as it was clear with the poor service and the lack of care put in by the management . read more
