I honestly avoided this review for many years. I was hoping after the covid debacle they would get it together. As far as the food goes it's McDonald's so you can only have limited expectations. My order was correct this time, but the small fry was only half way filled, and that pushed me over the edge lol. I'm here to talk about the staff they employ, especially the women. I guess I'm old school, but it bothers me when I go through the drive thru and I don't get visual or verbal acknowledgement. Just a hand out the window taking my money, then right back out handing me change, closing the windows, and still NEVER once saying a word or even looking at me directly. Sat in line for 50 minutes in the drive thru. They lock the doors at 7pm on a Saturday and hold people prisoner in the drive thru line. The absolute worst McDonald's. They either need to find capable help or close down. Giving them one star is extremely generous. I placed an order on the mobile app for breakfast and when I got to the restaurant i made the 10:30am cutoff by 2 minutes, but the employee wouldn't take my order, he told me to that i needed to wait a few minutes, didn't think it would be a big deal since i ordered online, and then i ended up waiting for close to 10 minutes, and then when i gave him my order number he wouldn't take it, he forced me to order at full price. Now that's unfair, he could have taken my order right when I arrived, instead he screwed me over. read more

Extremely rude on the phone. Asked to cancel a mobile order , they said it was an 800 number abs they had no idea what it was. The app says if you order to the wrong store to call the store you ordered from, the app even gave me the number of the store. Slowest McDonald's ive ever been to. I sat in line for over 30 minutes in the drive thru waiting for a frappe. Got through line and sent me to a mobile pick up because the drink I pre ordered on the app wasn't ready. They had people running all over the place in the parking lot trying to get food to people but they didn't know up from down. I'm still sitting here waiting for my frappe and I've had enough time to sit here and write this review and still haven't got my ONE drink. If I could rate this -10 out of 10 I would. read more

I don't even want to give them one star. The worst McDonalds I have ever been to. Stopped by on a road trip because it's right off the highway and it set us back 50 minutes. The mantra of McDonalds is fast service; never have I waited longer than 10 minutes for my food. The workers were awful. They were not able to handle the stress and it showed in their behavior. People would come in from the drive-thru simply to ask about their orders because they were sitting there for thirty minutes with no direction from staff. Them having to physically get out of their car and come in to ask what's going on is inexcusable in itself. The staff would harshly address customers saying it's "not their fault" but they had MORE than enough help on hand. Countless workers can be seen just standing there waiting for food to be made so they can shove it in the bag and take it out. If you're that backed up everyone should be cooking and contributing to the rush. They were so rude and people waited so long to the point where they were leaving even though they already payed. Customers were just walking out after thirty minutes of waiting and others were asking for their receipts in the drive-thru. While I was waiting for my food in the lobby I watched their shift leader make fun of the appearance of a man in the drive-thru wanting his receipt and even call away a cook to tell him to come look at this poor man--mocking his teeth and other physical features. The lack of urgency and human decency was disgusting and I would not wish that experience on anyone. Do not waste your time. read more

On third order today I declined the receipt as always do and then the drive thru lady asked me to park my car. Here she comes handed my food with a missing sandwich. I showed to her the bag, she says I will go get it to you and then here comes a big guy looking like he wanted to wrestle with me telling me that I have to show him the receipt !!! - If you use their App to order online, this is the worst place on the planet to wait for your food to be delivered to your car, wether you use the waiting spot or drive thru for pick up ! , The manager (Elderly lady) has nothing to do with customer service, not even listening to what I was telling her. I drove around this morning trying to get into McDonald's around the road instruction only to find there closed for remodeling. Wish they would of put closed on there sign. They get another star for remodeling but the put in the ordering terminals and I find them a nightmare to use. People don't like using them so now the drive thru line will double I came in again for coffee in the morning and I changed the place to 4 stars from 3 Stars because Ken the counter guy has a great personality and showed me how to use the computer ordering system. It's McDonalds, I know what I'm getting into and I know what it is going to be. And the food was McDead-on perfect for that. (Ha ha ha ... ha, I'm so funny) So, that begs the question, what the heck is up with the two out of five star rating?!?!? Have I lost my mind, am I being unfair, what gives? Well, it's somewhere between over flowing trash, dried ketchup on the dispenser, more trash smack packed and compressed in every open area near/within 2k feet of the soda/condiment station (probably extends to downtown Pittsburgh), gross tables, disgusting floors, dirty bathroom mirror, and a PUKE filled urinal, yeah, the latter was a real keeper. Freaking loved it, really set the ambiance of a fast food restaurant. Those two stars make sense now, right? read more

Restaurant was clean inside. The Quarter Pounder has gone thru a make over (fresh beef) which makes a big difference. New updated look. They did offer me table service and brought me my meal. If you visit this McDonald's, go inside. It sounds as if it is much better based on my one visit. read more

went to the one on route 19 rd 7 Mars today . went thru drive -thru . ordered three large drinks ,cheeseburger, 2.pies (strawberry/creme) ,and fries . Went to the second window got a very flimsy 4 hole tray For my drinks . went to reach for the tray with drinks and the tray split in half . The drinks are now on my floor and seat . Floor of course wet and seat as well. Went back to complain and said look at my tray split from being flimsy and cracked cup explained the drinks were on the seat and floor ; there explanation they are just babies and one saying only 16 . I would like a refund and my drinks replaced . I was like If they are that age where is the training or would have thought the presenter should have known double the tray Oh did I say the presenter thought it was funny and laughing . Just reopened with the new kiosk's. Was one of the worst McDonalds in the area. We did not get a chance to go inside but just had to judge the drive thru. Food was fine. I had a mobile order that got messed up and I believe a female manager was the team member who helped me. She took care of me and the order and got it fixed, and it was very much appreciated. I had a long week and this small act of kindness meant a lot. And then it struck me that today is 9.11 and her kindness meant even more. I wish I had gotten her name to give her the praise she is due, but know that her act of kindness started a "pay it forward" for me today. I always appreciate when people are helpful and work with you. Definitely think more highly of this restaurant from this experience. Thank you! read more

With one drive thru there is a wait and issues. But McDonalds has managed to make it even more frustrating.. Dual drive thru lines. People wait twice as long. People don't want to wait so they mess up the order. I can never seem to get apples at this location. This location is at least more time efficient than the one on 228. But it is still lacking. I will say I gave them more stars because my order was actually accurate which is pretty impressive for McDonald's. read more

I thought I was going to reveal this horrible manager-BOB-, and how awful this McDonald's is, but it looks to me like everyone has already beat me to it. It was a SIMPLE FIX- a gesture of good will and BOB REFUSED! Once you get past his dirty, wrinkled, and ill-fitting uniform (great image, guys), the way that he speaks to you and his problem solving skills will confirm any suspicions that you may have about him as a manager. My daughter asked me to go on a McDonald's run for her. I wanted to do something nice for her, so I went at 10pm. I got irritated that I was sitting at the drive through speaker and they totally by-passed me and took the order of the black Mercedes that JUST PULLED UP-car was still moving...hello! I figured a few extra minutes was nothing to get worked up about. HOWEVER, 30 minutes later (it was just nuggets, fries, and a cheeseburger, folks-nothing special order) I pulled up to the window and they asked for FULL AMOUNT. I asked "don't you think a 30 minute wait deserves some kind of a discount?", the drive through attendant said, "I can't, I'm not the manager", so I asked him to get the manager...IN STEPS, B-0-B. I told him that I had been waiting for a simple order for 30 minutes and I believe it would show good will (and apologize for their failure to deliver service) to offer a discount. BOB said NO! He said there is only 3 of us here. I said, "I understand that, but you did not have the courtesy to tell me that when I ordered and that there would be a delay, so that I would have the opportunity to decide to wait or go to Burger King next door ( I would not have waited). It was a simple communication skill that could have avoided "all this drama". He remained steadfast and in his refusal to give a discount. I said "fine, take the money...I'll call corporate and let them know how I was treated tonight". He didn't care one bit. I can see why now...McDonald's obviously has dropped their standards in what it expects from its franchises. You have all these complaints and the same owners are there and they hire people that treat the customers with little regard to the expectations that McDonald's has promised its customers. I really like the employees in this restaurant, everyone one of the crew members always nice and ready to help. I feel really bad for them though. The manager (I believe his name was Dave. Really tall and almost always is up in the front.) treats the customers with the utmost respect however, he tends to treat his workers very differently. I have heard him screaming and yelling at his subordinates over the most mundane things. It's gotten to the point where I hear employees murmur slurs like "I get paid by the hour" and "I'm putting my 2 weeks in". I've even witnessed him destroying the back door of their restaurant when he was angry. I'm writing this review because I don't believe someone who can destroy a door in anger should be allowed to govern mostly young adults. read more

I believe this is the last time I will be at a McDonald's. They have lost their initiative in the market place. The Whopper I had was bland... bland.... bland. Simply unappealing. Theoretically, per Corporate, all the variables are controlled in food preparation ... but there is lots of variability out there. Simply based on staff that do not follow the "menu of prepraration." And yes, I actually know about these standards for McDonalds. And then there is the drive up... folk need to be trained or have quality control. When trying to choose a fast-food restaurant, especially when we're in a hurry, I will often choose a McDonald's, believing that the company as a whole has some standards when it comes to their food. I know now that they don't. Last Friday, we stopped at this restaurant around 6:30 p.m. and went through the drive through. There was a long wait to order and an even longer wait to actually get to the window for our food. We ordered two quarter pounder burgers with cheese and bacon and fries. Fairly simple order. There was no cheese (or anything else) on the burgers and both the burgers and fries were cold. The burgers themselves were so dry, they were practically inedible. We could have just eaten the bag and saved ourselves the calories. There were no napkins in the bag either, which seems ridiculous when you're eating on the road. Wasn't too much of a problem since everything was so dry, but that's not really the point. This is a reflection of the poor management of this restaurant. There are lots of places to eat in Cranberry. Do yourself a favor and skip this McDonald's. read more

This is by far the worst Mcdonalds i've ever been to, early morning & you can drive nails with the biscuit they try to serve you. you know the guy making the sandwich had to think damn this biscuit is hard as concrete, yet still he wrapped it up & send it out the window for you to try to eat. WOW!!!! as is typical of the modern McDonald's they too focus all their attention and efforts on drive thru and totally ignore counter customers. I ordered a ice cream cone (1 cone) to go. 22 min. later I asked to either get my cone or a refund and got my cone. What really topped this visit off was when the short heavy set red headed "manager" came out of the office looked at the 13 orders stacked up on counter and turned around and went back to the office. This would be a great location for a fast food place. This entire staff needs to be reminded of the fact that people CHOOSE to stop here and we can just as easily CHOOSE NOT TO. read more
