Excellent Grill. If you're looking for some nicely grilled food in Hayes Town, this is the place to…read morego. I have eaten here many times and have found the quality of food to be brilliant and the taste outstanding as always. I would highly recommend their Kebab Roll (with mouthwatering sauce) and their two piece Chicken meal.

WOW WOW WOW!!! I…read morehave been literally scouring the area around Brunel in search of some decent but forbidden *Dirty Takeaway* food. Now when I say *Dirty Takeaway* I mean it in the best possible way. I love a good *Dirty Takeaway* (there is nothing dirty about it just great quality scrumptious takeaway that I feel guilty for gorging on!) I stumbled upon Chixys Grill by chance one night while perusing just-eat. Reviews were good so I thought I would give it a try. *Disclaimer* I am sick, yes SICK of takeaways around Brunel charging obscene amounts of my hard earned for what amount to poor quality burgers, donners, chicken, you name it, I can guarantee if you have something delivered it will arrive in a hard bun with a dolop of overpowering sauce and rubbery meat. Not much else but rubbery chips to go with, almost always costing over four pounds. *Disclaimer* Chixys Grill however is oh so different. I ordered the Sizzlers Mix Grill Large which consists of: 7 pieces of chicken tikka, 3 lamb chops, 2 kebabs, 3 wings & 2 pieces of chicken and the Quarter Pounder Burger Meal because im just fat like that! Ok so, the chicken tikka pieces were juicy, succulent and tender, perfect starter to prepare me for the lamb chops. Lamb Chops, oh my you beauties, these were proper tasty, meaty chops that I just could not get enough off, in fact I wish there were more than three! Kebabs again were yum, with a great texture and lovely spices throughout. Ok now I am getting quite full, but I must continue as the smell of grilled chicken is begging me to tuck in.. I start with a piece of chicken, using my hands to tear off a chunk and, and.. hmm its ok. The rest of the meal has been so amazing that the piece of chicken tastes very normal, Maybe I have overpowered my taste buds with aforementioned meaty goodness? Edit: Chicken today was good quality, not spicy enough for my tastes, I prefer Nandos extra hot! will ask them for more spice next time! So I decide to take a quick breather and go for a walk as I remember I also ordered a Quarter Pounder Burger Meal!! Back from my walk, I have managed to create a Quarter Pounder sized space and so open the box to investigate. First bite... WOW again a revelation. This is *Dirty Takeaway* food at its best. Proper slab of flame grilled beef, fresh salad and lovely subtle sauces topped and tailed with top quality buns. If Burger King did takeaway this is what it would be like. Struggling to move I reach for my phone and give Chixys Grill a call. I tell them how happy I am with my meal and how I am now defiantly a repeat customer. I will order again! Lovely gentleman on the phone is very modest and thanks me for letting him know. I will try the rest of the chicken tomorrow and the wings also and will update this review to reflect, but boy am I satisfied with Chixys Grill. Try it, I guarantee you will not be disappointed, oh and its Halal too! 5 stars!

Eating only airplane food for 12 hours from South…read moreAfrica and then another 11 hours to San Francisco it was important for us to get a real meal in between the two flights. We arrived early so lunch wasn't available. So we ordered: Classic Grande: they eat breakfast a little different than Americans do. Instead of hash browns, eggs, meat, and toast, the Classic contained two eggs, two bacon and sausage, a big mushroom, and canned Heinz Beans. The quality of food was decent, I can't complain. However I missed having toast and potatoes. Now I kind of understand the mushroom. But the Heinz beans I still don't get.. Neither did the passenger sitting next to me on my next flight... Pancakes, eggs, meat: this was my wife's breakfast. It was standard taste and quality. The service was short and kind of rushed. The waitress wasn't that pleasant or friendly. The price for the meal converted into US was about $35. Overall it is what it is. A restaurant in the airport where long flight zombies go for somewhere to sit, eat, and charge their dying iPhone batteries.

I ordered the Cheese and Bacon Burger (£11.50) and figured, "How hard could it be to screw that up?" Answer: Not hard. It arrived as a nightmarish freak show: A bun two sizes too large for the tiny charcoal briquette The Bridge alleges was once made of meat, bacon comprised almost entirely of fat, two giant fans of lettuce, attempting to overcompensate for the disastrous remainder of the dish. This was a bad, bad, bad burger that had been overcooked to oblivion. But the fries were good.

Kibbeh - Bite-size footballs that need to make a touchdown in my mouth... SCORE!!…read more I went to Heathrow Airport early to beat the rush and had some time to sit down and have a proper meal. After a couple of days of toasties, chips and meat pies.... I was desperate for something ethnic. Luckily, at the end of the terminal right next to my gate was this Lebanese haven! Although this place is a chain, I would for sure tap it again if I had the chance! I enjoyed the interesting juice selection, I was able to order a mixed meze platter and the food quality was great! They were even so nice to substitute my falafel pieces with kibbeh. Never had kibbeh before?! SHAME! Basically ground meat and pine nuts surrounded by bulgar wheat, made into a cute little edible american football and fried to a nice brown crispyness waiting to by crunched by the weight of your Lebanese food hungry mouth! After having the pleasure of stuffing a combi-dash of hummus, tabbouleh, baba-g, kibbeh and leb-bread down my halal throat, how can I go back to overpriced airport terminal fish and chips?!?!?

I was drawn to it because it was something different from the standard pub grub and fast food that most other spots were offering while I await my departure. I don't believe that I've ever had Lebanese food before. So, is it good for Lebanese food? I don't know. I do, however, know that it is good for food food. I thoroughly enjoyed my chicken Kofta (think that's what I had) even though I really didn't know what to expect. The rice and grilled tomato complimented it nicely and the sauce had just the right amount of heat! I also partook of the Lebanese Brew beer. That's apparently the name, style and original brewing site. It was light and smooth with a high carbonation that felt good. The restaurant is done up in bright pastels which would feel at home in a mid-century design book. The tables with small padded seats are cute and were completely filled by the time I wrapped up my meal. Service was very good with a high level of attention to detail and helpfulness. I'm glad that I didn't have to rush and decided to walk to the end of the terminal rather than just going for the traditional fish and chips! This is a unique offering and if you want something different, give it a shot!
