It's McDonald's, what else can you say? It has a playplace that is covered in yucky but what else can you expect. The have hand sanitizer and paper towel so I cleaned the table and that will have to do. A good place for the kids to burn off energy for basically free. read more

I pride myself on being the type of Yelper that will still find one or two good qualities about a business even if I do end up giving them a low star rating but this McDonald's has pushed my buttons for the last time. They do a fairly brisk drive through business which is great for them but not so great for those of us who want to receive service in the dining room area. Even with the order kiosks it is painfully slow here. I honestly just think they need to look at making their dine in business order kiosk only because let me tell you they HATE coming up to the till. Staff seem reluctant to even make eye contact with me in fear of that being a sign of some obligation to come and take my payment. I waited ten minutes for a latte tonight because they couldn't find any whipped cream and somebody had to be sent to the cooler (which isn't even in the building apparently but actually behind it) to go look for some. In that time I got to watch a supervisor chastise a staff member who was starting to become stressed because they were behind on orders. I HATE when people of positions of power take it upon themselves to snap at their staff in full view of the customers. Everybody experiences moments of constructive criticism from superiors at their jobs but you do that out of the view of other staff members and customers...grow up! Anyways after the cooler adventure there was none to be found so I asked for my money back. The same snotty supervisor came up to the till and handed me the money back for my latte but was short sixty five cents for the whipped cream which they charge extra for. Normally I would let it go but I was so annoyed at this point I told her I wanted ALL of my money back and she had the audacity to ask if I had actually paid for the whipped cream. LADY WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN FOR THE LAST TEN MINUTES!? Not having any whipped cream is the reason I asked for the refund in the first place. Why would somebody be out in your cooler looking for it if I hadn't ordered and paid for it!? I get it it's Mcdonald's so you can't expect a five star experience but I do expect to receive my order in a timely fashion and I don't expect this degree of attitude. There are over a hundred locations in Edmonton im sure so there are many other opportunities to get a Mcdick's fix...don't waste your time and your money on a place that so obviously doesn't give a sh*t about your business. read more

I eat at McDonalds (shamefully) quite often. I've been to almost every mcdonalds drive through in Edmonton and this is by far the worst service I've ever received in a drive thru. The first time I went to this specific McDonald's (june 2016) the young lady working the drive thru window seemed more focused on small talk with the male driving the vehicle then taking down our order. We ordered 2 coffee iced frappes both with 2 espresso shots. They had no problem charging us for this but after driving away and taking a sip we discovered neither had espresso in it. We went back inside and explained the situation and I asked for them to give us the drinks we ordered. The manager I spoke to was rude, condescending, and acted as if this were somehow our fault. She was hesitant to oblige and questioned us thoroughly about what we ordered. It took nearly 5 minutes to explain what was really a simple situation. This was incredibly frustrating considering we had to turn the car around just to get the drinks we paid for and especially so because the manager made it clear with her tone and body language that our request was impeding her day. About a month ago, I was eating in the restaurant. I ordered a large coffee with my meal and was given a drink cup. This typically wouldn't be a big deal for me and I let the crew member who was putting together my order know that I had actually ordered a coffee instead. The girl rolled her eyes, didn't say anything, and grabbed the cup. I was mildly annoyed with this not-so-great customer service, but let it go. Last week, I decided to get breakfast after an early morning appointment with my boyfriend. I ordered a bacon egg mcmuffin meal with a second sandwich on the side. He ordered a mcgriddle meal with a second sandwich on the side. We got to the last window and were handed a bag with 3 bacon egg mcmuffins, two coffees, and nothing else. We told the manager at the window that this was not what we ordered. She scowled, and told us this was indeed what we ordered. My boyfriend explained exactly what we had ordered over the intercom to her again and she again said no. She treated us as if we were lying and demanded, very harshly, to see our receipt. My boyfriend went to hand it to her and she grabbed it from his hand in a very aggressive manner. Once again, we were being treated as if it was our fault that they made a mistake with our order. She walked away and did not come back for what seemed like a very long time. Finally, she came back to the window and said "Give me the bag". So my boyfriend handed it to her and again she ripped the bag from his hand. She left for another period of 5 or so minutes. When she came back she mumbled "sorry" gave us a bag with 4 bacon egg mcmuffins and 2 hashbrowns. At this point, we were too frustrated with this woman's( a manager, at that) awful attitude and lack of basic customer service skills that we just drove away as it was not worth the trouble and this was very quickly ruining our morning. The worst part is that my boyfriend used to work at this McDonald's location and informed me that this manager has been working there for 5+ years. This McDonald's location has the worst management(and team, quite frankly) I've ever come across. There is a severe lack of manners, complete disregard for customer satisfaction, and I am absolutely appalled by the attitude of "managers". McDonald's Belmont, here is a key tip - If you're not going to hire employees competent enough to take an order, you don't get to act offended when people ask for what they ordered. Simple. Worst. OK, ware do i start? I herd from a friend that the chicken McBites were good, so i went to this restaurant and got my food and a Habrnarro dip because i like spicy food. And to my surprise it tasted like rubber, just plain rubber chicken. The breeding was very bland and tasteless the dip was mildly hot. I had to use 5 packs of vinegar just to get a good taste .
