Just saying going to the Burger Lounge brings a smile to my face. I get so eager and excited for…read morethe potential, knowing what's to come my way. I am always welcoming a visit there. Always. Not once have they left me disappointed or fretting over something that could have been better. So, let's get to it. Their menu has so much going on. There's chicken, lamb, fish, beef, plenty of vegetarian burger options and even salads, if you don't want to go the meat route. Each of their burgers has so much variety, you could take some time just reading what's in each one before picking. For me, the Greek burger stood out at once. Like I said, they have so much going on, packed with flavor from the different ingredients and toppings. The burgers are always juicy. The bun doesn't fall apart on you. But it is the type of burger that requires two hands. You need to pick it up and then don't stop eating until you finish it. Or else, it can and will be messy. You've been warned. The Greek burger was composed of lamb, olive tapenade, eggplant, feta, and everything together made this burger so tasty and delectable. It was perfect until the very last bite. The herbed chips are also worth noting, because they are so good. Now, I can't see the reasoning behind why the other reviews on this establishment are so here and there and all over, all I know is that The Burger Lounge has always kept me happy.

I live close by so I have came to Maxs a few times. The burgers and pizzas are good but the…read moreservices is almost non existing. They have plenty of staff on duty but none seem to be taking care of the customers. The service is the same with one person in the restraunt or a full restraunt. My advice is when a waiter does come to your table order everything you are wanting to get because they will not return.

During doing some research in order to find the worlds best burger I came across a place with a…read morename that was too good to be true! One named after me! Hope's were instantly raised.... I will start by saying, and I guess this will form the majority of my review, but this place was really hard to judge. For those who have been to Burger Lounge in Eltham, it had a similar feel right from checking it out on the website, and all the way to ordering my burger. And, yes, they are in a similar area, (and I know this doesn't apply to everyone) but I really enjoyed driving AWAY from the city to find a good burger in a much quieter part of town - it really gives an adventure type of feel. It was reasonable cost wise, and my request to double up on the beef (as I was slightly surprised there wasn't a double patty burger) for $2 made me happy. The $2 side of chips would've been worth $8 too at Grill'd, which was another tick. The burger itself whilst still being enjoyable was missing something small - maybe a special sauce or something of the like! Turkish buns were used too, and I haven't had too many amazing burgers with them unfortunately. So ideally I'd love to give it 3.5 stars, as the experience itself is rather enjoyable (I can't stress this enough), however the burger itself was good without being amazing.

One Plus Piece is not what you'd call a typical Balwyn cafe, and is more what might be seen in a…read more"hipper" neighbourhood. The decor is simple and as expected from the description on its webpage is inspired by the manga One Piece. Artworks and small manga artifacts abound and it is certainly entertaining to observe how they have been placed through the cafe. It's an amazingly quirky place and certainly entertaining and clever. The menu is broadly divided into breakfast/brunch, burgers and poke. My companion and I both ordered poke bowls, which can be varied by the addition of brown or white rice, or coleslaw or quinoa/kale. We tried both the salmon and spicy tuna, me the spicy tuna and my companion the salmon salmon (they call it that on the menu). Presentation is very good, the ingredients fresh and tasty including pickled seaweed, edamame and avocado and more. Though the tuna poke is called "spicy" those who are not so keen should not be put off as it's quite mild and a different touch tempered by incorporation of creamy mayo. The salmon bowl is beautiful to look at. The salmon was as fresh as a daisy and all ingredients on the menu were there including lovely thin slivers of bean curd which added fantastic texture. The bowls were really enjoyable. Though we didn't try the burger selection it is extensive, and from observation those served at other table were equally interesting to look at. We also saw an ice cream sundae delivered to another table and it looked incredible. I'll have that next time. Nice touches include ice cylinders (instead of cubes), and sparkling water served with the long black coffee ordered after the meal. The courtyard area out the back is lovely. It's well worth going out there on a nice day. One Plus Piece is certainly well worth a visit. Service is prompt, presentation excellent and the dishes we tried were well prepared. It's quirky in a way not expected in Balwyn and that's a good thing. Our thanks for the kind invitation to dine here. 4.1

I watched One Piece growing up and this cafe has such a creative twist to it! Love the decorations,…read morehowever the food was leaning towards the oily side (this is what lost points for me). There are always heaps of people so the last time I came here I had to line up for 30mins for a table. Other than that the servings are huge! If you love burgers, fries, milkshakes and One Piece, this is a must try!
