I found out Red Rooster did whole chickens for $13 or $14 so I bought 1. How they get the flesh so sweet and salty without adding salt I dont know, and the meat was tender moist and tasty. I will only buy chickens from Red Rooster from here on in. I do not know about their other dishes, around $14 for a whole large chook and Im happy.

Quite understandably KFC Dalby was very busy, and so they'd run out of burger buns by lunch time…read morethat day. Every customer had to order wraps instead. The one guy working the counter was doing the best he could, while the other two people running this busy and crowded store were doing their best to cook the food and serve the drive-through. I have no beef with the staff working there. They were overworked and severely understaffed on a busy Saturday, obviously because they have an exploitative manager who doesn't care about the supply of ingredients, the cleanliness of the store, or the well being of the minimal staff on duty who most likely missed out on having any breaks that day. Head office's COVID compliance signage and stickers were all there: Stickers on seats saying where people can and can't sit for social distancing. Signs saying to check in using the QR code. But none of the staff were able to monitor all of that. The tables were absolutely filthy. Nobody was cleaning them. There was sticky grease, sauce, chips, crumbs and rubbish everywhere. And people were just all sitting wherever. Some tables were close to rubbish bins that hadn't been emptied in what smelled like weeks. Very, very smelly bins. The place was so dirty we were not willing to visit the toilets. I can only imagine the horrors we'd find in there, and probably no hand soap either because the three staff were absolutely swamped trying to prepare and serve wraps for everyone. The place was a smelly, filthy, COVID-unsafe disaster, and there just wasn't enough staff to cover all the necessary duties to make it safe, clean and efficient for everyone. We will never eat at KFC Dalby again.

You will always finnish your food feeling like you enjoyed that meal and ..."are you going to finnish that?". The food looks fresh, never overcooked and dried out. Only 1 complaint... it is very salty. If you eat an entree with 2 main courses then expect to have an unquenchable thirst for the next 6hrs. (could be the salt or msg or both). I could never see the value of cooking with msg (monosodium glutemate) If you want to buy takeaway and enjoy a meal, then Albert Sun has to be on your top 5 takeaway list. prices are a little more but well worth it. ps. I only gave 4 stars because of the salt/msg (always thirsty). If it was summer and I had beers to quench my thirst then it would be 5 star. last time I ate there was jan 2018.
