Service was slow, and meals took a long time to come out for a simple order. This, however was not the worse part. I ordered 3 poached eggs on toast, and after the long wait, they came out hard as a rock, totally full boiled. I took my plate back and said that I didn't want the meal replaced. After being looked at and questioned as if I was the one that done something wrong, I sat back down with my wife who was having her breakfast. The Manager came up and asked why I didn't want the meal replaced, and what was wrong with it. I explained at that point I just didn't want anything, especially if I had to wait again. I explained that the eggs were overcooked, which isn't how I wanted them. I was then told "well you should have asked for them to be runny". I explained to the Manager that In all the cafes I've ever been to, runny poached eggs is what you get by default and that I've never been presented eggs like this (even at other coffee clubs). The Manager then continues to argue the point and say it's a regular occurance for people to ask for hard eggs, and that I really did need to preference the way I wanted them. So after this exchange, we finished up and left. They did apologise, but the argumentative discussion and the general treatment was enough to put me off. My wife's meal was fine though. Off to find a real cafe next time.

The salsa made fresh and just wonderful in texture and flavour! The chorizo is spicy!! Not that weak salty version, it's delicious! And the bacon.... OMG! I ordered the "Smoked Salmon Bagel", smoked Tasmanian salmon, herbed cream cheese, rocket and avocado on a toasted sunflower and rye bagel for $12.95. Tasty, just needed less rocket and a bit more herbed cream cheese. He ordered the "not so big breakfast", organic eggs anyway with bacon and grilled tomato with toast for $13.95. Tasty, 2 slices of toast instead 1 would have been better, I'm sure 1 slice of plain white bread wouldn't cost much.
