Parking is on site and free but can be challenging during peak times. Lots of options for roadhouse type grub. Burgers, chicken, salad, nachos, tacos plus steaks, ribs (Wednesday has rib promos). Etc. At our table we had burgers, spinach dip, chicken fingers and the chicken quesadilla. The spinach dip was ok but I have had better elsewhere. The quesadilla, chicken fingers and burgers were very good though. Service was friendly and pretty timely considering how busy it was. The manager was helping staff which is always a good sign in my book. It's family friendly too (with a separate child priced menu). There are lots of booths on the dining side.

We got a poutine, a burger and hot dog, and some onion rings to round everything out. Food came out relatively quick. Pacing was good, got the poutine out first to munch on before getting the rest. The quality is very much a basic greasy spoon diner back in the states. Lots of stuff fresh out the freezer, prepared like a beach stand with stuff quick fried and sent out. There was some care shown, the burger was lightly seasoned and not overcooked. Bun was fresh and the hot dog had a good char to it. Besides that, it was underwhelming overall. That being said, it wasn't bad. Yeah, it was generic but you don't go to a place like this for solid eats. You come here for that little reminder of home or to explore from the comfort of home. In those cases, this place works. Given that it was literally next door to a Texas bbq place, they very much knew what clientele they were aiming for. If you're curious to try some of the most basic food that the US has to offer, then this place will allow one to experience that without having to drive there. The wings came hot, the meat was tender and moist, you can see from the pics, lots of sauce. You may need the sauce reduced if you don't like perfection. The only negative, the hottest wasn't really that hot, unless you consider ketchup spicy hot sauce. The waitress brought us some Frank's for spice, but we wished they had Tabasco. It's been open a while, but is incredibly clean, even the washroom was spotless. You need a key for the washroom, it's for customers only. I always ask myself, would I return and would I recommend, and the answer is yes. We will be back when we are in town again.
