We are normally a 'drive-thru' family when it comes to McDonald's; however, they were hosting the kids' McTeacher Night and to show our support for the school we decided to dine-in. What.A.Treat! Alexandria was the first Team Member we encountered, to be honest, she provided a level of service far beyond what I would expect at a fast food dining location. Props to her. The place was full of kids, you would expect ruckus and disorganization, but not on her watch. I watched her circle the dining room many times, collecting garbage pro-actively from tables. She also spent time checking to see if anyone needed anything, a service not normally seen at McDonald's. As someone who is on a Keto lifestyle, I wasn't expecting much from my dinner - but I was pleasantly surprised to find my McDouble (no bun) thoughtfully wrapped in a large piece of lettuce. Also, our children's Happy Meals looked fresh, and seemed to be pipping hot. All the request condiments were places in their boxes and the orders were correct. We may make this our new McDonald's of choice. read more

So I had a drive thru order placed abad right of the back they were going very slow and they were extremely busy. So I switched my order to curbside. I have waited for my food for over 40 minutes for it to come out. They told us that they "Accidentally" lost my order. Like What? How do you lose my order in the first place? I have been visiting this McDonald's a lot in recent weeks because it's very close to my daughter's school. I'll often stop here with my kids on our way home. Never once, have we experienced outstanding service or food. Usually you get one or the other, but never both. The staff here are nice, and most of the time they'll carry your food to your table, but they are never busy or crowded during the times that we visit, yet it always take a long, long time for us to get our food. I'll usually make a couple special modifications or requests, and always have to go back to the counter for them to fix it or replace an item that's missing. Every once in a while, the food comes right out, but on those occasions, the food is not hot or fresh. It seems like the problem here, is under-staffing. The staff that are here, seem to do a decent job, but could use some more help. As stated in other reviews, I have a weakness for Quarter Pounders, so I will keep coming back, but this location could be be so much better. read more

Today I came through the drive thru and was "served" by Christopher- a young man with a bandage on his face- idk if he took the order or not but the order was for 3 large drinks, an Ice cream and McFlurry. He walked away from me as I was talking to him no fewer than FOUR times. They messed up my order just by giving a medium drink and not large. Instead of fixing this he asks me to pull to the third window because there are other customers. The drink machine is right next to him- the simplest thing would be to fix it. Then no one came to the next window after over 5 min. waiting. So I was went inside to get the large drink and the manager 'handling' the concern could only understand about half of it, English being a second language to her. Christopher was beyond rude, walked away mid sentence and didn't even send the order after ignoring my concerns. As a Disney Annual Passholder, I stop at this McD nearly every time after leaving the parks (at least 1x/week). We will no longer be customers for this location. read more

Absolutely horrible! I work in Davenport and have been there three times for breakfast, they have overcharged me on two occasions and messed up my order every time. I went there this morning and they said they couldn't make us food so I got a coffee and they completely screwed that up. Don't waste your time here for a late night dinner. I work late hours and this is the only 24 hr place near me. In the past month I have yet to get dinner here the 5 times I've come here. It's always something different- their system is down, they are only taking cash, they're cleaning the kitchen. Today I went to the drive thru, listened to the car next to me order and when it was my turn, was told they're no longer serving. Completely unprofessional staff. We ordered UBER eats because we are on vacation and do not have a vehicle. Our sweet driver arrived with a SEALED bag (so we know it wasn't him) that was missing a whole order. After proceeding to call and explain the issue, an annoying female tells us they will refund us the order (thanks we're still hungry, which is why we ordered food) and to come pick it up. After reiterating that we do not have a vehicle, which is why we used UBER eats, she proceeds to laugh..put us on hold for 5 minutes and hang up. Next, we call back and the "manager" states she left and he "accidentally" hung up when transferring the call. Pretty sad the manager can't even handle a phone! (Or an order?) 1st of all we would like to say thank you to Jamie for being so wonderful and taking our order and going the extra mile and asking if we wanted yellow cheese or white cheese that is paying attention to detail at its finest. When we get go to get our order at other McDonald's they never ask us what kind of cheese we preferred. We were greeted with beautiful smiles that were also friendly and warm. Thank you McDonald's you are lucky to have Jamie. Thank you also to the sweet young man when we went to pay who let us know when we asked who was that wonderful girl who took our order and he told us her name was Jamie. I can't believe this. We just stopped here on our way from Orlando to Tampa in our minivan full of kids. They give us a bag of food. Kids tear in and start trying to figure out who's is who's. 2 minutes later the lady says "sorry. We gave you the wrong bag." My wife asks, "So you want the sandwiches back?" I'm not a fan of fast food. Like, at all. If I were reviewing this compared to other eating establishments, it would probably get a 1- or 2-star rating at most. But, as far as McDonald's goes, this one does taste fresher than the other locations I've been to, and the staff are perfectly fine. I've never actually been inside -- just drive-thru -- but it's a pretty new building in a fairly new area, and it looks pretty nice compared to other fast food joints, so I imagine the inside is clean (always a plus at a fast food joint). Also, it benefits from being one of the few places to eat in the immediate vicinity, especially late at night -- hence why I've found myself here many an evening. If you want other options, there's another McDonald's about two minutes up the street.... Anyway, not a place I would recommend for real food, but if you're looking for McDonald's, this one's better than some I've been to. read more

But I rediscovered the sausage and egg biscuit last week at the Celebration location when I was hungry and it was just there. So I decided to go to the Championsgate one today instead of my normal Friday Chik-Fil-A biscuit sandwich. And after the experience at this McDonalds, I don't care how much better the food is, the service at McDonald's is so bad that I won't be switching regularly. I mean REALLY?!?? It is 2020, does McDonalds require ANY form of customer service training before they put someone in front of their customers?!? Is it frowned upon to use friendly words like "How may I help you?" Or "Have a nice day!" The interactions with both employees at the drive through was so cold that I lost my appetite amid wondering what is going on back there while they prepare my food and can't see me face to face. 3 stars since the breakfast sandwiches are good and hopefully this was a one-off. This McDonald's is the King of wrong orders. You can ask every person in that restaurant for no Cheese, and it will somehow still find it's way into your food. They will put cheese on your Big Macs, your ice cream cones, your dogs, your kids, and then hand you the wrong bag of food and forget your drink. Historically this McDonalds has been one of the slowest in the area and if it can be avoided we go elsewhere. There have been so many instances over the years we have lost count. Today, we have Covid Guidelines. Up to the window to receive food, the girl had nothing on her hands, no mask and she is handing food to me never looking at who I am. I watched as she took the lid to the soda putting her full palm against the inside of the lid. Direct contamination. Before she put the lid on as she was chatting with others, I asked for a new lid. She ignored me put the contaminated lid on and handed me the soda. I said, please I asked for a new lid. She handed me one touching the inside with full hand. Lastly she ignored me when I asked for straws. Finally reached my limit. Never again will I or anyone in my family go there again. They need to retrain the staff with Covid guidelines. read more
