"I just don't want to look back and think I could've eaten that!"
    Christopher M.

Our beautiful, Saturday afternoon adventure began with a stop at a Bridge City McDonald's drive through to acquire fast, yet necessary, sustenance to satiate us for the afternoon. However, our experience left us displeased and wishing we had visited Dairy Queen instead, as DQ would never let us down. Based on the amount of time we were left waiting behind the previous customer, we assumed he had just ordered the entire left side of the menu. Negative. It took an ungodly amount of time for him to receive his meager one bag order. But alas, it was finally our turn. We received our bag of burgers fairly quickly, unlike our buddy in front of us. I immediately double checked to see if the two Hot Mustard sauces that I asked and paid for were included, as I needed to ensure my girlfriend's happiness so I didn't find out how comfortable the living room couch isn't. There was no Hot Mustard sauce. Good thing I caught that. I still have a chance tonight. We drove off to begin our adventures while digging into, what we'd soon discover was, a bag of disappointment. Strike one - not a single napkin. How were we supposed to cleanse our fingers of ketchup and fry salt as we journeyed to our next destination?! Strike two - my Bacon McDouble was discovered to have been missing a key ingredient. The bacon. I found no trace of the mayonnaise I asked for either, despite it being clearly printed on the ticket. Strike three - adding Big Mac sauce to a burger does not mean that I wish for my burger to be completely void of all other condiments, but it was. My $.25/burger for sauce was happily applied to the screen, but I feel the same enthusiasm was not mirrored from the kitchen staff. I know what you're thinking, "Did SSG Hansen and his lovely teacher girlfriend turn around to be given the proper meal?" The answer is no. In the words of the great urban philosopher Marshall Mathers aka Slim Shady, "If you had one shot, or one opportunity, to seize everything you wanted in one moment, would you capture it or just let it slip?" Furthermore, we will be sending our manuscripts of this gross negligence to the Yelp authorities via raven, as the public needs to review the atrocities that took place on what was supposed to be, as Ice Cube stated so perfectly, "a good day."

From the review I already wrote. This is the photos I took when I pulled the straw out of my coffee frappe and saw PUBIC HAIR!!
    Chad H.

My coffee frappe had PUBIC HAIR IN IT!!! I have photos of This! The kid who gave me the coffee, saw how mad I was..and refused to speak to me. And the manager denied it. My coffee frappe was FULL of PUBIC hair! I pulled the straw after drinking it, and the straw was covered in hair. Be warned of BC McDonald's

Some old pal spat on my chicken nug.

They have their good days and bad days. Usually under staffed and make sure you check your orders before leaving.

The inside has been renovated pretty recently, and it is a small and quaint shop. The staff is always nice, and everything is priced at an affordable level. I usually come here for lunch. When you order a sandwich, you also get chips, as well. I also like to try their soup of the days, and my favorite is the cream of broccoli. Their cookies are my favorite thing they have to offer. I believe it is their specialty. They are really consistent, made fresh, and soft in the inside. I have tried almost every single flavor and each one has been good. I have also tried their cà phê sữa đá (Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk) a few times, and personally it is not my favorite. It is very dark even with the condensed milk, and I feel like there is something missing. I have had better cà phê sữa đá and prefer the ones my aunt makes at home more. Overall, Golden Croissant is a cute place to grab a small lunch. I think it is one of my favorite places in this small town and has a lot to offer for a good price. I definitely recommmed getting a sprinkle cookie or two when coming here!

I prefer my croissants to be a light brown colour rather than golden, but I'll give them a free pass. Excellent bakery to which I was going to give 4 stars for their delicious goods, croissants especially, which are some of the better ones I've had in the United States. But when you consider that it's in a little town and not at all where you would expect to find a good Bakery, it's remarkable, and I have no choice but to award five stars.

The food is mouth watering and quality, made with love that you can taste. Every time we go here, it's always a perfect dining experience. Today we got the triple decker sandwich and shared between 2 of us with loaded chicken fries that came with queso and also ordered fried pickles that came with ranch that was also amazing. Crunchy pickles with the cool ranch was the best combo. Their dynermite pancake combo is also delicious as well as the meatloaf sandwich!

The staff is friendly and you'll get served up quickly as soon as we set down we drink order was taken and menus was brought, coffee came hot and fresh nothing like a good cup of Joe, what I like about the place you can tell there was some elder people there that looked like some regular daily customers. I haven't ate much from here but what I had was delicious I ordered the Boudin omelette with buttered toast and cheese grits. Let me tell you the boudin was so good let alone had it in a omelette, they put a good amount of boudin in the omelette and the eggs was very fluffy and to top it all the omelette had white gravy on top it was crazy good. the grits was fresh and i always complement my grits with cheese everything on my breakfast visit hit just right. i will definitely come back, this is my go to spot in the area for a good hearty breakfast.
