After…read morean amazing few days in Toronto culminating in an awesome date with my friend Krystyna (swoon), who was completely strung out by the way, which was awkward, but anyway... on the way back to Buffalo we had the munchies. This was literally the only thing we could find open. A plaza with about 5 different fast food options. Coffee from Horton's, burgers and root beer from A & W (who invented the root beer! Well no but sort of...), and then disappointment. I mean I know that burgers from fast food places suck, but this one was nearly as bad as Wendy's. Nearly. And it wasn't hot either. Lukewarm or something. Blah. However the root beer was good and we were still on the end of our Toronto thrill ride so I can't give it a 1 star. Awwwwwwwwwwww.

I was on my way to Hamilton and short on time so I popped into this rest area and it was either eat some fast food, eat at Tim Horton's, or get Subway......so here I am. Like every other subway in 2019 nobody else was in line so I was able to order quickly. I think the gentleman working was new because he seemed to be very slow at preparing it ( not a complaint). I ordered a sweet onion chicken teriyaki footling which I haven't ordered in a decade and I'll be honest here, I actually liked it way more then I would of expected. Was it a perfect sandwich? No, because Subway isn't for perfect sandwiches. But the food was decent enough where I wasn't obnoxiously full, it tasted good, and I was able to be in and out in less then 20 minutes. Subway is Subway, you know what you are getting when you come to one and this one is no different.
