Driving into Baxley, we kept our eyes open for a place that would be decent and would hit the spot. Coming into town Southbound on US1, we didn't really see anything except this Burger King just South of the US 341 cross over, but we did take a quick jaunt down each end of 341 just to be sure. So Burger King it was. Entering, the place was clean and presentable. The menu is the same as ever, but the smell gave us comfort (there really is nothing like that charbroiled beef smell that all Burger Kings seem to have). I ordered up a Whopper meal while my mother got a cheeseburger, which was perfect for both of us as we got a drink, some fries to share, and a burger each to eat. Just enough to keep us going without filling us too much before dinner. There was some confusion on the cashier's side of things, as she did not seem to understand the desire for two sets of fries, but we weren't charged improperly or anything. The real problem was the drink machines. Both were down for replacement of syrup cartridges, with no one actually doing the work. Someone had to be called and told to get the cartridges installed so that at least one of them could be up and running to serve drinks for customers. There was some real lack of foresight on the staff and management to have both down at the same time for this sort of issue. You take one down, install the cartridges, get it back up and running, then work on the second one, thus allowing customers to have some avenue for getting their drinks! It is for this reason that I am downgrading to a two star rating.

Get there and get refused by first staff member, 2nd says she's not sure what to do, ask for manager (who I never see) get told they'll replace only plain burgers and chicken sandwich. Get home no chicken sandwich. Stay clear they are rude and will lie.
