Waited in the drive thru for a long time before just ordering on the app. Went inside to get the order, the guy cleaning the floors nodded my way. The people dressed like managers ignored me. When someone finally did acknowledge me he asked 3 times what I ordered. It was literally a sausage egg biscuit and an egg McMuffin. That's it. I was there over 20 minutes. They didn't know this, but I was on my way to see a friend on hospice in his last hours of life... I nearly broke down in tears and just ended up walking out because I couldn't deal with it. I broke down in the car and ended up stopping at Arby's in Holly Springs because I was so hungry I could barely focus to drive. It would be nice if everyone cared a little more about others. Their food is awful and the service is too. I went there and waited for a spicy chicken sandwich for 45 minutes they excuse it as they were in the middle of shift change, but as usual excuses are only excuses when they brought the sandwich out to me. It was cold and not to my satisfaction at all there was the last day I've been there that was three months ago. They also never have any ice cream cones. The ice cream machine is always broke. Not only did I have to wait 15 minutes after I paid in the drive thru spot, they forgot my Oreo blast. I had to wait an additional 5 minutes for that. I get home and discover that my fries were so overcooked they were crunchy like chips. Not a couple of the fries...the WHOLE large order. My burger was undercooked and red on the inside. This is the last place I would recommend going to especially at night. They "run out of food" which is super convenient for being "24 hour". As a someone who works my nights on Uber Eats and Doordash this is ridiculous and a waste of money on my part. It may not hurt these workers who sit there on their phones making probably 15 dollars an hour doing nothing because they are too lazy to cook the food, but it does hurt people trying to make money. On top of that, attempting to communicate with these people is impossible. They claim to be alone and only have one person in the building but you drive by and see multiple people. I agree with the signage issue. We need those Golden Arches to give us a homing beacon. Although the outside does have the traditional McDonald's look. Kids play area still closed by the looks of it. Server was nice but is it just me or has ordering at McDonald's changed? I haven't been to a McDonald's in America for a while but when I did go if I ordered a "number 4" under meals section of the menu, I got the meal not just the sandwich. That's how it is overseas still where I've typically been. When I ordered this time I was chastised by management that I needed to say "meal" when ordering a number 4 under the meals section of the menu. So why is it under the meals section then? I don't get it. But I think it's a nice change as they don't push a higher priced item on you that maybe you didn't want. I just think the signage on the menu board is confusing, especially to those of us who have been trained to order it a certain way for the past 5 decades of eating there. read more

The Drive Thru line was out to the street so I looked on my app and saw curbside was an option. I pulled in a spot. Waited 30 minutes. I walked in and was refused help. A manager named Sylvia walked up with NO mask on. Told me she couldnt refund me unless I waited in the drive thru line. I asked why I couldnt just get my order and go. She said I had to go through the drive thru (even after waiting 30 minutes). I told her I didnt even care about my order anymore and just wanted my money back since she refused to make it right then. I am in shock she did not have a mask on. That is in direct violation of the Shelby county health organization. And it is a mandate. She locked me out of the store so I just left. Very hard to find from the hotel but once I got there it was quick, easy and fresh. Waitstaff in the drive through was pleasant. By the time I got my food and went back to the hotel the food was still hot n fresh. Even gave me the sauces I asked for. A big plus in my book too. read more

I was standing for 5-10 minutes waiting on somebody to take my order, and nobody came to the counter. My friends and I got out to grab some affordable, fast breakfast and decided on mcdonalds. Everything was going fine in the drivethru until the guy taking payment decided to ask how we feel about the election. That is not a comfortable or appropriate question to ask, and felt very unprofessional. Then he continued to say who he supported was based on his religious views, which is incredably inappropriate as well. It felt very uncomfortable as we were unable to just leave the dialogue due to processing payment and the line not moving, and there is no way he was unaware of that. read more

Simply put...this place is a soup sandwich! Whatever you order will require a waiting period and then you will be forgotten. Oh, and it's always the fries. Here's a tip if you end up here or any McDonalds for that matter, do not accept a partial food order under any circumstances. Make them give you a complete order only. If you are looking for a relatively inexpensive place to go for a child's birthday party, this is your place! For less than $100 you get your own designated table space in the play area for 10 kids, plus happy meals, a 9x13 sheet cake, ice cream, balloons, and all of the decorations, candles and treat bags for the guests. You also get a dedicated server to help make sure your to.e goes smooth. It was excellent service. Now one thing to point out is that you aren't paying to have a private party so there may be other kids there in the area that are with their families so you have to make sure your table stuff doesn't get in the wrong little hands. Your party will last a out 1.5 hours so don't expect to open gifts while there but you will have a chance to play a couple of games with the kids and a few will win free happy meals for their next visit. The only downfall is you can't set it up online so you need to call the specific location and talk to a manager to set it up. Then you'll have to go in and pay cash for a deposit.
