I highly recommend Powell Express Moving. Roger and Jesse…read morecame to my place and did a thorough assessment of what needed to be moved and how it would be moved. He explained wonderfully every aspect of the move. He gave what proved to be a very accurate estimate of how long the move would take. Another company I called gave an hourly rate but did not come to my place so had no idea what needed to be moved or how long it would take and thus how much it would cost. After speaking with Roger I was confident that all of my belongings would be handled in the most careful, professional and efficient way. Powell Express is a very professional operation with great equipment to make the move as efficient as possible. All went smoothly. If I ever move again I will definitely call Powell Express to do the job.

The sad part is that I can't even get a review out of it and he told me it's in about 1500 mark dollars but wouldn't give me any more information and refuses to be a professional. How can I trust someone to move my precious belongings and memories when they're going to be screwy on the page where I asked for a quote?? Feeling concerned I later got a call from Mr. Roger who told me he refused to work with me and didn't know the difference between an inventory list and an detailed list. I suggest you use a mover who knows how to be professional, mature and above all knows the trade. Harassing potential customers is a terrible way to grow your business.

Honestly, we don't know how we would have managed it without them since we live in Arizona. This was a HUGE job--a 2 story garage plus 5 levels of home that had been lived in for 50-plus years. Jon communicated clearly and kindly through the whole process and they did their best to maximize the values of our belongings in a timely manner. Thanks Caring Transitions of Eastern Iowa!
