We had been to the bigger establishments and wanted to try a few old man pubs, so we thought maybe Bush Bar would be the one. As we walked in, loads of men, and a few women in the back near the karaoke machine. Yep, you read right- it was an odd pub. The inside definitely didn't match the outside, which is totally fine. I popped down to the toilet while my guy ordered drinks. When I came out, he had chosen a table near the bar and had already almost tuned out the surroundings because of the top 40's type music they were playing (Sophie K.- think Lloyds #1). We only stayed for one drink, which was probably one too many for my guy who isn't really a fan of the loud music pubs. There was a random mixture of people- old men, college students, men, women, random. I can see how this pub might be a great quiet spot during the week, plenty of seating and a small well stocked bar. Come the weekends, it's loud music and karaoke, which is great, if that's what you're looking for.
