MCD Sheds after sales treatment terrible. Our MCD Shed that cost 4227euro leaked rain badly in eary december 2023 storms two weeks after installation. MCD would only come out to us when they had a team in our locality which was Dec 15th. Before that day their guy had not been shown the videos and photos that I had sent to MCD's admin staff. So he only brought vents for airing condensation which he agreed would not solve the problem when I showed him the videos. MCD Sheds would not prioritise a return vist until after the Christmas break and until they again had an installation team in our area. This was Jan 9th. The fix that was carried out using foam sealer and seemingly re arranging the roof alignment was questionable as to why this was needed at all. On Jan 29th, when it rained again, there were some slight patches of rain ingress. This time an MCD Shed's operative came on Feb 27th. ... Over 3 months of correspondence during which MCD Sheds delayed replying until I kept a them,, they evetually denied that there was ever a rain ingress and said that it was always just condensation... I had suggested that they gift us some sort of goodwill refund as their sheds were on sale of 20% off around christmas time. They even alleged that I had refused permission for their guy to fit the vents on Dec 15th. ... It seemed to me that the problem arose on the day of the installation on Nov 20th 2023. Acess for the roof panels were obstructed by some patio bricks. I had tools at the ready in case a stituation like this happened and this would have taken only a few minutes. But the installers did not tell me about this. Instead an extra payment of 30 euro for dissmantling the roof was requestedby MCD Shed's admin staff over the phone. By this time the lads were well into dissassembly of the roof.. so I let it go. ... Mistakes can sometimes be made. In our situation, for whatever the reason of the problem, MCD Sheds should have returned to us within a day or two. MCD Sheds, I believe failed badly here. read more
