This establishment "A'Bella Stone Countertops & Tile" must be ran by some wacko or wackos!…read moreInitially, I requested a quote, As a Veteran, I asked if the offer a discount. Said request was quickly denied. However, once I was ready to move forward they, then began driving the price up with "extras/add-ons" it was pathetic to say the least. The lady that runs the front office has the worst customer service, I have ever seen to date. Not to mention the fact that they force you to pay 50% upfront. However, in Pennsylvania the law only requires a contractor to request 1/3 payment upfront. They're not allowed to take any more than that and then essentially, You pay the other 2/3rds "30 days after the install is complete". I brought this information to the attention of the lady who runs the front office, after doing so, she went to her office and called the owner "Dennis Bates" and informed him of the information I passed about the law. Apparently his answer was, "I've always done business this way"! So basically he admitted that he's been breaking the law since he's been in business??? Makes you want to think huh??? Honestly, I would steer clear of this place! Sometimes you just have to take a step back and think... Is getting something cheap really worth it? Or what's the catch? I was actually going to go through and purchase countertops through these people but the last straw was drawn when they sent me an invoice via PayPal in which the owner " Dennis Bates" has it set up as a cash advance. Also, breaking the law dodging taxes... like I said steer clear!!!

Anything you may need for a pet, home repair, herd of livestock, or construction project can probably be found at Franklin at a lower price than any of the big box stores in the area. They also sell small animals that were bred and acquired humane ways instead of coming through animal mills. (Huzzah for ethical means!)

While Franklin doesn't always have quite the wide spread of generic items (i.e. non-hardware things like AC units), their selection of tools is often wider and more varied; most certainly, the tools and supplies that are available are generally higher quality than what you will find in the big box stores. This hardware store has become my first stop, because the quality is better and the prices are just as good, if not better than the chains.

We had a…read morebroken storm door and I was willing to spend a good amount of money on a decent storm door but he was too lazy to care and offered just to fix it. The door was back to the way it was within a month after he "fixed" it. I was fortunate to connect immediately over the phone with Interior Designer Laurie Foster, who not only answered my initial questions (delivery to my far-away town? Yes. Do they carry Bassett furniture? Yes.) but also asked me for some detail about what I was looking for. This was on a Friday afternoon, and thanks to a quick email exchange after our phone call, Laurie had prepared to meet me by the time I had arrived at the store the next morning. She has made print-outs of the rug in my living room that I wanted to be in conversation with our new sofa and chairs. She helped by showing me potential fabrics, leathers, sizes, and placement of furniture, and much more. Laurie is a terrific listener, with an artist's eye and mind. She is absolutely a gift to everyone who shops at David's Interiors, and I recommend both her and the store itself to anyone searching for high-quality sofas and chairs. Thanks, Laurie, and thanks, David's, for your beautiful inventory, terrific customer service, professional design help.
