We hired Paul to remove our old oil heating system and install a new high efficiency natural gas heating system in our home. The job required extensive re-plumbing, including the incorporation of our hot water heater in the system. We have multiple heating zones in our house and the plumbing layout is a work of art. All the pipes are cut to the same length, all the pumps to the different zones line up and Paul tucked the entire project up against the wall to minimize the footprint in our basement. He ran a new gas line into the house and new vents were installed to the outside. This system cut our heating bills during the last two winters by at least 50%.
About a year after installation, we ran into a few minor problems with the gas boiler. Paul came to our house to troubleshoot the problem at no charge. Ultimately, Paul diagnosed a manufacturing defect and contacted the boiler distributor on our behalf. Paul has also done previous work for us, including the installation of a farmer sink in the kitchen, and dealt with the routine, annoying plumbing problems (clogged drains, leaky showers, etc.).
