Not difficult paperwork and we were not new clients to this firm. However, we waited for 3 weeks, calling several times a week, but calls were not returned. One day, both my Mother and myself called twice, meaning 4 separate messages we left yet no call backs. I don't know if James didn't get the messages or he chose not to return our calls, but after 3 weeks we went to different law firm, Stuart & Branigin. The next week I set up an appointment with S&B and when I called BE to pick up a copy of the old will, suddenly my calls were returned and "the work paperwork has been completed". Too little, too late. Hopefully this will be a teaching moment for BE. You are NOT the only law firm in town and certainly not good with client services.

YES, his office was opened on a Saturday (I'd like to say I'm special and that was just for me, but he moves mountains for all of his clients.) You think if your paying that much an attorney up front you would expect him to have some skills on how to work the system and what not. But I got the same results that I could get from a free lawyer that I only pay if I win my case, actually that's the kind of lawyer my sons moms basically had and her stepped all over him. Twice my sons my claimed that she couldn't handle our son living with her twice,each time wanting him back a day or two later. So once things became complicated roberto just gave up on helping me. He wouldn't tell me that,he just quit responding to my messages left with the secretary,and ignored my emails. Even after going threw his assistant he still failed to do anything. He also explained how he calculated the fee and what the process and timeline would look like. We did a Zoom meeting and I found him to be a very friendly, down-to-earth man I felt comfortable with.
