He came from a school that he attended for 8 years. Everyone went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Our son has made new friends. The principal and staff have been amazing. We were especially impressed with the school's commitment to it students' well-being and various clubs and school activities offered. It's easy to see that St. Ann's invests and cares about its students. What really sets this school apart is its emphasis on community and inclusion. We also like that it is a feeder school to Notre Dame high school that is right down the street. St Ann's and Notre Dame work nicely together. The hall ways are extremly narrow for the amount of slow moving beastly specimens that have to pass through them and at times it feels like u have to waddle like a penguin just to get through center hall. The biggest problem with this school is getting is getting to this school. The town is not made for the amount of traffic in the morning and the crossing guards don't seem to do much to improve the situation. Every day the traffic night mare called Allentown forces tons of students to be tardy. Lets say u are late by 2 minutes because of this traffic abomination you will be at least 20 minutes lye after u wait on a line at the attendance office and then walk back to class. It seems like they could improve the protocol for when u are only a few minutes late. In conclusion despite its minor issues it is a great school and I wouldn't want to go any where else.
