Both times I had no insurance and I knew I would have to pay out of pocket. Both times they took me in right away.. I was in and out, no problems! Pretty affordable and everyone was really nice and professional.

I came on my first visit I was completely impressed by the atmosphere, they even have charges for your cell phone if you need it. I sat down in the lady kept asking me if I have insurance, I informed her that I did but she keep asking as if she didn't believe me. Then Kelly took very through x-rays and she knows how to put you at ease as if you are at Disney world. The people here are great, but some rough patches with communication. It was discovered that I needed a lot of work done, including a root canal, which I feared would be the case. So I set an appointment to get this done, but I set an earlier appointment to get the crown done, so that I wouldn't lose the filling I had from A previous time. So when I can to the appointment, the lady said okay, I understand we are doing a root canal, and clean the left side of your mouth. and was confused because I was there for something completely different, I think one of the things that should be done is have something written out which plan of action is being taken at each appointment, so their is no confusion, especially in cases when their is a lot of work to be done. They made it work with my insurance, that is the thing that I am most grateful about this place, Dr Papp is legendary, I have a maybe a handful of dentist in my life, and from my experience, he is truly, a cut above the rest. when I went to my 4th appointment, the root canal that final got done, was a supper-smooth process, he dialogs great with customers, and he is world class. If you get a choice I would go With "big papa!" That's what I call him in my head. This location doesn't discuss preventive care much with patients, so it is important to make sure you ask them, to keep the work they do intact. If you make an appointment, they will not leave you in the dark, the with email you and text you often to remind you, so they have great follow-up, But If you can't make an appointment let them know because they have a big customer base They bake cookies fresh every day so they definitely make an effort, to make a great atmosphere, But just a few things to work out.

I have referred 5 people since I have been a client and they all talk highly of the establishment. This is the place to go to if you want to feel like a person, rather than just a number.

I dislike having to update my review to such a low score, but after going to a new dentist and…read morereceiving such drastically improved care, I can't let my 5 star rating stand. I started off absolutely loving Linworth Family Dental. I truly enjoyed my visits and cleanings in the beginning. The staff seemed close knit and their website appeared to bolster that sense of closeness. But after a couple of years, I noticed my favorite hygienists suddenly no longer working there. It started off with one or two staff, but then it felt like at the next appointment, I didn't recognize any of the hygienists. I understand that people move, change jobs, etc, but I was a little concerned. Another reason for my low rating is that with each passing appointment, more and more advertisements for beauty procedures (like Botox) were put on the walls. I've seen plenty of offices with pamphlets, which I understand, but it got to the point where they had a huge retractable banner in the lobby and pictures of clients (which happened to be staff) taped to the walls of every single exam room. It felt more like a cosmetic spa than a dentist office. An additional reason is that the cleaning during my last visit was very sloppy and rushed. The hygienist was a young girl who kept telling me about how stressed she was for losing the key fob to her dad's Mercedes Benz. She kept stopping to tell me the story instead of focusing on the cleaning. When it came time to put fluoride on my teeth, she globbed so much on that even my fiancé told me he'd never seen so much caked on someone's teeth (and lips) before. And the worst part? I was due to have my gums measured, which she told me at the beginning of my appointment, but she forgot to do it. I was so frustrated by the end that I didn't even bother to press. I just wanted to go. It was also at this appointment that I found out the dentist I had been seeing had left the practice. My last reason for why I won't be returning is because of the receptionists. My fiancé accompanied me to my last appointment and waited in the lobby while I had my cleaning. As we exited the building, he said he could hear the receptionists behind the front desk speaking poorly about a patient. He said it was uncomfortable sitting in the lobby hearing it all. I find that disheartening and unacceptable. TL;DR: Linworth Family Dental used to be a wonderful dentist office but the quality has gone downhill and the care is nowhere near what it used to be. I cannot in good faith recommend this practice anymore.

I am writing this review to provide a balanced but firm critique of this practice. While I have…read morehigh praise for the dental work itself, the administrative shift toward aggressive profit collection has made it impossible for me to remain a patient. The Clinical Side: Compassionate and Professional I want to be very clear: the dentist and the clinical staff are excellent. As someone who deals with significant anxiety regarding dental visits, I felt truly heard. They were kind, attentive to my fears, and took the time to answer every question I had. The quality of the work performed was top-tier, and I never felt like just another number while I was in the chair. The Business Side: Profit Over Patient Care Unfortunately, the administrative policies have taken a sharp turn toward prioritizing immediate revenue over customer service and patient flexibility. The office recently stopped accepting my dental insurance, which is their right--however, their "solution" for loyal patients is incredibly rigid. They now require the total cost of all services to be paid upfront and in full. Most frustratingly, they demanded this payment prior to even allowing me to schedule an appointment. There was zero willingness to discuss payment plans or provide any level of flexibility that you would expect from a healthcare provider you've trusted with your care. Conclusion It is deeply disappointing to see a practice where the medical side is so compassionate, but the business side is so cold and transactional. By requiring payment before a chair is even prepped, they have sent a clear message: they value guaranteed profit over the accessibility and loyalty of their patients. If you are looking for a partner in your long-term dental health who understands that "customer service" involves more than just a smile in the lobby, you may want to look elsewhere. The clinical care is great, but the financial gatekeeping is a dealbreaker.
