It wasn't going to be a big job, only about 56' of ornamental fencing and Penn Fencing scheduled our Estimator, Charlie to visit a few days after calling them in early March. We received the Estimate a few days later and the pricing was comparable to the other quotes we gathered. Penn Fencing came recommended to us by 3WS's Johnny Hartwell and we went with his advice and selected them for the work. It has only taken five (5) weeks for the materials to arrive and the install to be scheduled. Kevin and his two (2) man crew arrived promptly at 8:30am, to do the work and they were finished in about 90 minutes. No mess, no inconvenience, and they disposed of our old fencing for us. The fence looks great! I did have to go back and tighten a few screws, but it wasn't a big deal. We are very pleased with the job they did and would recommend them for your project.

We called them and were able to speak with Josh who came to our house to look at the railings that we were interested in replacing around our house. He measured everything and showed us some options. We received the estimate in a few days and were able to okay the plan, also placing the required down payment. We had to wait couple of months while they ordered the materials and designed our order. Once the installers started, we knew that we picked the right company! They cut away the old rusted wrought iron railings that had exceeded their purpose around our porches, and installed the new wonderful railings that we had ordered. It took 3 days. Every day we were happy and excited with the work being accomplished. Keith and Aaron (installers) were fantastic. Their knowledge, skills and professionalism impressed us. The office staff (Noah and Josh) were very reliable and professional. They made themselves available when we had any questions. We're so pleased with the final results! I would think twice before using Pro Fence and Railing…read more We hired them to replace our existing fence with their 6' Biscayne white vinyl fence. Unfortunately, the experience was frustrating from the beginning, particularly when it came to communication. Installation dates were changed by email, but when we responded that the new dates didn't work for us, our emails and phone calls often went unanswered. Getting a response was extremely difficult. The biggest issue, however, was the fence itself. I specifically chose the Biscayne style because the listed picket spacing was 7/8". We have a small dog, so the spacing was extremely important to us. Our estimate clearly states: "Biscayne -- Picket Style: 7/8" x 3" (7/8" picket spacing)" I was not home when the fence was installed, but my husband was. When I returned home, I immediately noticed that the spacing was 3 inches, not 7/8". There were also missing post caps and debris left behind. We contacted the company. They eventually came back and installed the missing caps and removed the debris, which I appreciate. The spacing issue, however, was not resolved. I went back and forth with the owner several times. I was told that getting the 7/8" spacing would cost an additional $1437.80 but they would change it for $1027. That was difficult to understand because the 7/8" spacing was printed on our estimate for the exact fence style we selected. The owner then asked me to prove that the paperwork actually said 7/8". I sent him the document. After I provided the proof, I never received another response. We were eventually sent a $100 Visa gift card, but that doesn't address the fact that the fence we received did not match the specifications listed on our paperwork. The fence itself looks nice, but the communication, installation issues, and handling of the spacing problem were extremely disappointing. I wouldn't have expected to have to prove to the company what was on our own contract. I would be happy to change this review if the company ever addresses the issue, but as of now, it remains unresolve
