I was blown away by the service at Young's and their devotion to this customer. I got new tires…read morebut was disappointed by the fuel economy. So they replaced them. And then the new ones (highly recommended by Michelin) still weren't as good as the ones that came with the new car. So they replaced them again. This is so far beyond what any other company would do! They will go mile after mile after mile to make sure the customers are pleased. My son went to Parmenter have his auto inspected, the car had 78,000miles on it and was well…read moremaintained, had only about 8000 miles since the last inspection so we knew that there couldn't be much wrong with it. they came out with a list of things amounting to $1200., my son called me and i told him to forget it, tell them you were going to get a second opinion, he said the guy just grinned as he paid the 21 dollar and said a second opinion is always good. ( must be wasn't the owner). He made an appointment with another garage to have the things checked that they said were wrong, but not have it inspected, they could find nothing. he then made an appointment with yet another garage to have the car inspected. He has 3 little kids and wants the car safe but he didn't want to get ripped off. The garage that inspected it let him watch as they put in on the lift and pulled a wheel, they found nothing unsafe that needed to be replaced.,. I thought the State was sending unsafe and safe autos around inspecting the inspection stations. this place needs a good going over.

First Tom checked to see if it was a "quick fix" that he could do (like a fuse). It wasn't. Not only did he tow the car to the dealer (car still under warranty), but he made sure I got to a safe hotel where there were restaurants within walking distance. (Not being from around here, he told me the hotel I thought I'd go to was next to a deserted mall). Great, helpful service.

A bad nightmare happened after our first night of our roadtrip vacation. My tire was flat!…read more I had just filled the fires with air the day before. I googled tire shops by the hotel we were staying - luckily Horsehead is a pretty convenient town in terms of shops and stores. Mavis popped up and I spoke with a guy named Jon. Right away I could tell he's more on the thoughtful side. He told me not to drive on a flat tire because it would ruin the rim and tire. I told him I was able to inflate the tire back and it seems to be holding for now. He said to bring it in and they would check the tire for me. I explained it seemed to me like air was leaking out of the valve stem. Once there the tech put it on the lift and sprayed the tire down and checked for nails and leaks. Around the valve stem was fine but apparently the stem itself was loose. He used a tool to tighten it and voila... My problem was solved. Great attitude and helped me out big time and they didn't even charge me for their service!
