He has a very interesting background as both a entrepreneurial business owner and as an attorney, and he was exactly the type of attorney I needed. I could not have found a better person to put my faith and trust in for my legal needs. I had a small issue that could have potentially turned to something major, and Sam made it disappear almost over night. I am very pleased with Kelsall and Associates and plan to have an attorney-for-life. Thank you!

I don't usually write reviews and this one was long overdue, but Steven is the best divorce and…read morecustody lawyer in San Diego, PERIOD!. I had a 10 year custody and parental alienation case where I had paid another attorney 100's of thousands of dollars without any progress. Steven was recommended by a friend. When I met with Steven, he was forthright and honest about my case. He's not going to tell you what you want to hear all the time, but rather put your case into perspective based on the facts and this is what a good attorney should do so you can make the right decisions. Upon taking my case, things started to turn around. He's fantastic in court and in front of the judge in pleading his cases. He's even better in a deposition and in a trial where he is questioning witnesses to obtain information or counter items that have been claimed. In my case, he was able to prove to the court that there was a significant amount of parental alienation and misrepresentation by the mother and subsequently the courts reversed custody. I was awarded full physical and legal custody of my daughter who was 13 at the time. Additionally, he continued to work on my case for financial matters in the years following. The continued misrepresentation, hiding of assets and obstruction of due process by the mother was all laid out perfected by Steve. This resulted in the court finding the mother obstructing justice and awarding me $60,000 in fees and fines. Steve put his heart and soul into my case, was there to advise me on all matters and gave me the outcome I expected. I highly recommend him for any level of divorce and custody matter.

My experience with Steven Fritsch as minor's counsel was deeply upsetting. He was appointed when my…read moreson was eight. I had gone to court seeking help after not seeing my son for two years; his father had taken him from Florida to California. Over the eight years the case continued, I felt that Mr. Fritsch acted more like my ex's attorney than an independent advocate for my son. I was especially distressed by how he responded when I raised concerns that my son was suicidal. I felt mocked rather than taken seriously. I also believe I was misled about a stipulation I signed: I understood it would lead to 50/50 custody, but I continued to have supervised visitation. I dispute statements made in court that I had already received a trial, because I do not believe I ever received one. I also had concerns about billing and about information being treated as confidential. This process cost me years and thousands of dollars, and I left feeling unheard and without a fair opportunity to maintain a relationship with my son. This review reflects my personal experience and perspective.
