I have been using his legal services for a few years. I was scammed by a real estate developer and…read moreI am sued by a bank. I don't remember from heart exactly how much I paid him (maybe about $20,000). The results are awful to me but I understand that the legal services are like this; sometimes you end up spending the huge amount of money for nothing. What I am disappointed the most is my latest payment I made to him, $2,500 (I think) for the settlement negotiation. I paid this extra money because he said that he can help me negotiating the settlement. But, I ended up writing a letter to the bank, he only email it to their lawyer. After that, I inquired him about it, he just told me that he doesn't hear back from them. As of today, his attitude is still he will follow up and update me when he receives a response. If he never receives the response, I think he is not going to do anything. I paid him for the settlement negotiation. If there is no settlement negotiation, I wish to get the money back.

When I called on the 21st I was told that my actual consultation was going to be on the 26th. I actually said okay to the 26th but the lady on the phone said that she would give the lawyer my number and have him call me today. When the lawyer called it was to tell me that they would not be representing me because me calling to ask why I hadn't received a phone call on the date that I was told was considered rude and they no longer would represent me. The lawyer had obviously not listened to the phone call or he would know that he was being lied to. I would never hire an attorney who wouldn't even listen to a phone call for evidence much less have one that didn't do that much research for a paying customer.
