It was very refreshing to bowl at an alley that didn't have technical issues, meaning our ball never got stuck and nor did the pins. It wasn't busy at all on the Thursday afternoon when we went and we ended up staying for 3 hours. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and it came pretty quickly and was quite good. On the screens they advertised meal deals and bowling deals that I wouldn't be opposed to going back and trying. Every staff member that we came on contact with was very friendly and helpful. We had a great time here and are looking forward to coming back.

The vibe is fantastic. It feels like a true local hangout, warm, lively, and welcoming. The bartenders were incredibly friendly and on top of everything. Even when the place was packed on a Friday night, service was quick and smooth. One of the bartenders even flattered me by calling me "honey," which instantly made it feel like home. That kind of genuine, down to earth hospitality really stands out. The beer was cold and frosty, exactly what you want after a long day, and the pizza was seriously delicious. Add in a TouchTunes jukebox and a full crowd of happy locals, and you can tell this is a well loved, popular spot. I was staying right across the parking lot at the Foothills Motel, and the 10 percent discount I got at the bowling alley was a really nice bonus. If you're in Auburn and want a fun, relaxed place to grab a drink, enjoy some great food, and feel like part of the community, The Lounge at Foothill Bowl is the place to be. If anyone is searching for a very attentive coach who not only manages the kids/ has great team dynamics, and creates a positive learning environment. He's your man. We normally try to sit in shaded areas, but doesn't happen a-lot. Especially with the high 90° weather we have had. Wish there was more tree coverage from the Sun. It's very well kept and clean. My only issue is they need TWO bathrooms. It's a long walk if your playing on the opposite field. Especially for senior citizens like myself. Besides, that its a great spot .

I've seen food trucks here which is really nice when you are at games. The bathrooms are near the park and are decent for a public restroom. Parking can be tight on a busy day but not so much that you won't find a spot. Consider parking away from the field to reduce the chance of having a foul ball hit your windshield.

I got an opportunity to wander around the rib-fest, and despite the grey skies people were having a wonderful time. There were 5 rib vendors and wish there were more, for a rib festival I expected a few more vendors, but Lincoln is not a big metropolis and the ribs that were coming out of the smokers were tasty. Unfortunately, the most popular one (or at least the one with the biggest line and hype), seemed to have misjudged the crowd and there no racks comin' off the smoke and a 20-30 minute back log so we moved on. We went to another green-tented place and got an order of spare ribs and a side of beans for $7...an extreme value considering the heft of these spare ribs and the amount of fatty (in a good way) meat. These ribs had a wonderful smoke ring, as well as a nice char from finishing on the grill. The beans were run-of-the mill Sysco-style. They could have used more of everything, but weren't bad as a palatte clenser between mouthfuls of meat. In addition to the rib joints, were hot dog vendors, beer tents, animal shelters, solar companies, electric car dealerships, and a myriad of other crafts and booths hawking their wares. They also had the "classic" classic car show and great line up of local bands... Awesome. I have been spending more time in Lincoln recently and the town likes to show off their classic cars and music. Considering this festival is put on in a smaller town (approximately 40K people), and the junky weather, there was a terrific turn out. If you are in (or near) Lincoln next year and feel like escaping to a time where everyone in town knows each other, pack the wetnaps, grab the wife, kids, dogs, and anyone/thing else you think might like this event and hit up Lincoln for some truly, "All-American" fun at the Rib Festival.

Having said that they really struggle with communication and organization. As it stands you have to check the TCLL calendar every single day because dates and times shift so often without notice. Just to give an example, our team had several games but zero practices scheduled at the beginning of April. Today I'm organizing my May calendar and I can see that we missed 4 practices in April that were added in the middle of the month without any notification. All of these problems could be solved by the league implementing an app capable of sending push notifications to parents and syncing with Apple/Google calendars.
