Haven't been impressed by other McAlister's locations, but this one was pretty darn good. Needed food, something with options for everyone. This was nearby. Easy parking, plenty of comfy seating inside and out. Superb service, kid-centric and friendly. Lots of options. Sweetie got a potato, K got mac and cheese, I got a pick two with bbq chicken sandwich and southwest chicken salad. K liked the mac. Sweetie liked the potato. I liked mine. Big fresh salad, lots of different flavors and textures. Tiny sandwich, but pretty good: good bread, good meat, good sauce. Oh, and great music (80s-90s hard alt rock, not something I expected at a healthyish place.) Definitely will check out McAlister's again in future. read more

I love this place although lately my veggie sandwich keeps showing up with different ingredients, like green bell peppers that aren't listed as part of the sandwich. And the onions were way too big and the onion end. Otherwise, no complaints; potatoes delicious, potato salad delicious, sandwich bread tasty, broccoli perfect. I've been a HIGE fan of McAlister's for years. I didn't even know it existed until I live at the beach for a summer and ate there almost every day! It's truly so good and consistent. I've been to a few in different states and never noticed a different in service or food. That's something to be said! I always order a sandwich and salad with a sweet tea or lemonade! So dang good! All around great atmosphere and food! They are a total win for me every time one pops up. read more

I can only assume the reason this place has 4 stars is because there very little nearby to compare it to. However, when you travel extensively, you quickly recognize how poor the quality here is. When in doubt, i always default to a club sandwich. Hard to really screw up ham, turkey, bacon, bread, cheese and mayo but they managed to do it. What they served up was a sandwich so dry and tasteless that it would have compteted with leather boots left in the desert for decades. Simply put it was horrid. You used to be my go to for a healthy meal but I couldn't be any more disappointed. The prices have gone up and the food quality has plummeted. I don't know what you've changed, but you should reconsider to stay in business. my pick two was a joke. The half of chicken salad was literally two bites. The cheddar and beef, the same and I swear back in the day you threw in a bag of chips, but I could be wrong, however you should to make up for the lacking meal. read more

Those in the know get the sweet tea! ...and pickles! Soup/sandwiches delivered quickly, and prepared toasty warm. My Turkey Reuben/Rachel is delicious! Mac n cheese, well, I'm wondering why [given the small portion] it's considered a upcharge. It's fair. Not sure I ever repeat that. This was our first and last time there. The staff was friendly and the service was fast BUT... The table and floors were not clean, I had to wipe crumbs and drink rings off the table. The food was awful. I ordered the Angus Spud with a cup of chicken and dumpling soup. My spud wasn't served with the caramelized onions or the au jus. The potato was over cooked and bland. The soup had a couple crumbs of chicken and tasted bland and watery. My husband ordered the King Club with a side garden salad. The sandwich was over sweet and cold as a stone. The salad had a strange metallic taste and the WORST part there was a hair in the salad. read more

This place has changed a lot since they first opened. Most noticeably, they used to have pickles and peppers out in a self serve areas and they took that away and then started asking you if you wanted a pickle when you placed your order. Now they don't even do that. You have to specifically ask and even then they pretty much always bring your meal without one. The Italian sandwich got noticeably smaller as well (smaller bun or roll thus takes less filling) Beware, if you order the fruit salad, which is listed as a side, they now charge an extra 75¢ for it. This is just a few of the things I've noticed. Either a sign of bad management or an effort to not have to raise their prices across the board. read more

I got to hear the manager and another employee tag team another employee about her job performance. There's has to be a more quiet place then next to people eating to tag team a young worker. Btw the manager was inappropriate and needs to be talked to! He doesn't have the right to belittle staff in the dining room. Do better with your managers Btw the other 2 ladies at the register were beyond rude, a family sat outside and apparently didn't tell them so the one lady was walking around looking for them and kept saying to the lady at the register you gave them the wrong number where are they. When they finally looked outside they sat there bashing the customer for not telling them. Then she looked at me and said are you ordering I said yes, she says get over to register 2 she will ring you up. (the registers aren't numbered) We were just passing through, we ate there on Friday and the reason we came back as we passed through was because the staff on Friday was amazing! The 2 ladies at the register and the manager and the lady with her hair in a bun that was tag teaming this poor girl, were all inappropriate and if I'm passing through again I will just keep going. I like ordering take out for lunch or dinner. I feel better about eating this and I feel it's more filling than if I went to a drive thru in town. I always order the French dip, jalapeño chips and sweet tea. It's great! Perfect amount of meat to bread ratio. We have been to McAlister's in person to eat in as well as order takeout and ordered online several times since it has opened. Our dining in experience has been just fine and as expected. Staff has been attentive, orders correct and the restaurant has been clean. Our online ordering experience has been a nightmare!!!Multiple issues with the app and our order not going through - saying that we need to adjust our order because some items may not be available (but they never say which items). So we try again and find out when we arrive that we now have several orders and have been charged for several orders that from the app didn't appear to go through. Other times like tonight our order seemed correct at quick glance but it was not. Yes we should have opened very item and confirmed it was what we ordered before leaving but really? How hard is it? We were missing a few items soup, salad, we got the wrong sandwich etc. very frustrating!!! My advice whether ordering in person or online if you are taking it to go - Double/Triple Check Your Order!!! Don't trust that it correct. McAlister's please implement a better process for ensuring your customers actually get what they want and what they have paid for. read more

First visit to McCalister's Deli. A real nice, friendly staff. The wife had a chicken, caesar wrap which could have had a bit more sauce ans less lettuce. My Reuben was pretty good. I did have to add some salt to peek it up. The cold slaw was a bit bland. It wasn't either vinegar or sauce kind. I will return again. Would love to try their soups read more

We have been to Mcalisters before and really enjoyed it. One of the big draws for me was the pickle bar. They had an assortment of pickles and peppers you could get, all you want. Alas the pickle bar is gone at least from this one. There is a sign saying ask for pickles and they will give them to you however when I went to the counter to ask, the cashier promptly told me that they would be brought to the table, but none came. When the food showed up I asked again for some pickles and they were brought to me. Supposedly they were unlimited however the table next to us asked for more, the waiter said that they already had a plate, they asked if one plate was the limit and then the waiter gave a chuckle and said he would bring more. I feel like the pickle thing is a big draw, there was a Moes next door and I decided on McAllisters based on the pickles. The food is good but I wouldn't go out of my way with the current pickle situation. read more

I really, really want to like this place, but every time we eat here something goes wrong. The staff is very disorganized; I don't think it's their fault...the management is disorganized. The first time we came, they were out of potatoes. The second time, our entire group of 12 had their meals and were finished eating before my husband got his food. After 30 minutes of waiting (we gave grace because they were busy), we asked where his food could be, and we were assured that it would arrive soon. It didn't arrive for another 35 minutes! This is the third time, and tonight we stood in line for 15 minutes. No one else was even ahead of us! There were a couple people picking up their take-out, but no one else. 4 workers were bumbling around behind the counter, until finally one person told us to go to the end register. When we got to the register, the cashier literally just stood there and looked at us. She didn't ask what we would like or anything. I was a little bit thrown off and, after a few awkward moments, I asked her if she was ready to take our order. She said yes, but it was just weird. We put our order in at 8:04, and it's now 8:16...we will see how long it takes to get our order in a basically empty restaurant! Update: our food came out at 8:19, so not too bad, but my husband's salad came with croutons, even though he was careful to tell them he is gluten-free and can't have croutons on his salad. When we checked the new salad it was clear that they just removed the croutons, which is not acceptable for someone with a gluten allergy. So, only one star. And my Mac 'n Cheese was a bit skimpy. read more

Love it!! Me and my daughter seriously loved this place. I'd say this sandwich place would beat the ones we've been to in our hometown of CA. Why didn't they branch out to there? I'd love to eat there as often as possible. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. Services we've got was pleasant. Clean dining area. To start with the bread, I think they make it there. It was so soft and fresh as you put it in your mouth. Like a lightbulb just turned on when I took my first bite. I got the French Onion with chicken sandwich and a very nice butter squash soup. My daughter got a turkey sandwich with avocado (forgot the name of it) with a very nice cream of broccoli cheddar soup. Everything came out so perfectly. We both had their most famous freshly brewed sweet tea, oh my it was so good. I'm so glad my co-worker recommended this solace to us. Excellent food, easy ordering. Definitely got what we paid for. Just a warning. Their full size spud is actually 2 loaded baked potatoes. 4 of us ordered tonight (sweet chipotle chicken griller, coleslaw, spud ole, choc. lovin spooncake, horseradish roast beef griller special instructions, potato salad, angus spud, a club sandwich, a peppercorn turkey ranch, 2 spud maxes and New York cheesecakes with 2 different sauces) and our orders were generous and ready well within the time frame they said, even for opening just Monday of this week and the parking lot and restaurant were completely full. While their online ordering is nearly flawless, it did error out because the choices of cheesecake toppings weren't up to date with what the restaurant had. Not a problem. Calling in the order by phone was straightforward and pleasant. Service at the counter was fast and friendly, to go section is on it's own door at the patio, so it was easy in and out.
