Malls certainly have a lot of headwinds these days but Haywood has kept itself up a lot better than most malls have. I arrived late and kept things low-key, settling in without issue. The lot was well-lit and felt safe, with enough space to tuck in without crowding anyone. I was back on the road by 6am, well before the shops opened, so I didn't explore the area much but for a quick, discreet overnight pause, it worked just fine. No hassles, no noise, just a clean exit and a grateful nod to Bass Pro for the unofficial hospitality. Located along Woodruff Road, Magnolia Park blends big-box anchors with specialty stores and dining options. Nordstrom Rack, Marshalls, Golf Galaxy and many others. It's located in a nice yet smaller mall named Magnolia Park directly off of Woodruff Road. It was so packed with cars that we couldn't get in! This mall has some other interesting shops and a movie theater. Wild Wing Cafe is located here also. Truthfully that's what got my attention. I wanted to scout it out as a possible place to eat. This can be a very nearly impossible place to enter during rush hour as we found out.

Downsides: dealing with Woodruff Road, and this is basically a big parking lot with stores around it; it's not really pedestrian-oriented even though driving from store to store makes no sense either.

As it is near the highway, it is always a good idea to be especially aware of your surroundings and remove any valuables from sight when you park. Date of Visit: 5/13…read more I had a very disappointing and upsetting experience with a cashier named Annette. During my visit, I witnessed Annette engaging in what appeared to be racial profiling toward a Hispanic customer. Rather than handling the situation professionally, she openly agreed with another customer who made a comment suggesting the individual " she should learn how to speak English." Her behavior was inappropriate, unprofessional, and offensive. While the main customers are Hispanics. On top of that, when it came time for us to check out, Annette told us to look for the same skirt but with a price, even after we told her it was the last one on the shelf. She expected us to do her job and locate the information ourselves. This was my first time visiting the store, and unfortunately, it will also be my last. No one should be made to feel uncomfortable or disrespected while shopping.

Admittedly there are some obvious growing plains the store has, for some reason they restrict certain ages from entering SO PARENTS BEWARE!! You can't take your kids (atleast as of 2021) , another interesting point is the requirement that all boxes be opened at the counter, I can see why this is needed but the amount that they require this is... a little much I have many many stories of being falsely accused of opening boxes and at times even being yelled at for doing so just because of my proximity to an open box (not because I opened the box) Other than that the place is a cool novelty and most of the time is a great experience, just be aware that there are some weird rules but they are TOTALLY worth following for the steals you can find here :)
