Had an offer from possible homebuyers who wanted to remodel. They had MC submit a bid for removing skylights and reroofing. Offer fell through and buyers backed out. Approximately a year and half later another offer to purchase comes in and new buyer wants roof inspection. MC used the earlier bid with some word changing and implied skylights needed replacing and our ceilings might need possible new plywood for ventilation. - The skylights have never leaked. Our ceilings are ALL vaulted and there is no attic space or space to ventilate anything. Of course MC had no indoor access so they wouldn't know. Only had the old plans to remodel (never done) to work off. New buyers have no plans to remodel. I could not in good conscience ever recommend someone who is too lazy to do much more than take an old bid, rewrite it and submit it as an inspection report when it's really just a bid trying to get a roofing job. read more
