Outstanding job!!! They did a great job on the trees stumps that were growing in our fence. If I could give them more stars it would be a 10 star job. The old big tree stump that was in the middle of the back yard is no more. They grounded it out and we can now put up the new garage we plan on building next year. Very overpriced ! To have them remove two small limbs from my tree , no heavy equipment used but 1 chainsaw , on my property for 35 minutes they charged $500.00. Their estimator needs to go back to school or get a refresher course on estimating jobs. Will never use them again or refer them to others. read more

We just bought our house about 2 months ago and inherited a 100+ year old river bottom cottonwood. This tree was massive. It was actually two trees that had grown together. Half of the tree was hanging over our roof and backyard, and the other half was sprawled out over our neighbor's house and yard. Every time the wind blew, my husband and I would cringe, wondering how much of the tree was going to come down. My parents had used Capshaw Tree Service in Casper and couldn't say enough good about them and their quality work. So we called them for a consultation. They sent two guys out to look at the tree and give us an estimate. They have highly skilled "tree guys" including an arborist and a tree doctor as well as numerous hard-working cutters and removers. We were impressed with their knowledge and experience. They provided an in-writing estimate that spelled out all of the details. We felt very comfortable with our decision to go with Capshaw for the removal of our very dangerous tree. We greatly appreciated their skill and experience as they worked quickly and safely to carefully remove the tree. They were mindful of the nearby structures and calculating in all of their moves. The precision of Will's cuts and drops was truly impressive. The tree was huge, snugged right up against our house, and power lines were everywhere. It was a very difficult removal. The guys were very professional and cautious, but confident as they proceeded to take down the tree. Nathan, Will, and Andrew were very personable and were dedicated to giving us top-notch service. We can't say enough good about these guys, or Ace, the owner. This is a professional, well-oiled machine of a business. It was time to get rid of our 30 year old cottonwoods in the back yard. We shopped around, got several bids and decided on Capshaw Tree Services. Will and crew showed up on time, looked over the project and commenced to get after it. They were careful to only cut the cottonwoods and mindful of our property and the neighbors. Sold us a cord of wood that was anything but a cord. They took our money and did not deliver the product they promised. Was about 3/4 of a face cord short. When we called to ask for the rest of our wood we were basically called liars and they argued with us. Said they would ask their guys about it and then we heard nothing. Cheats, liars and just all around bad at business. The guys who dropped off the cord just dropped a big pile in the middle of the driveway and asked me if that looked like a cord of wood. I said I didn't know, had never had to judge on just laying in a pile. Said I would stack it and if it was short would call. Exactly what I did and was given the brush off. read more

This is the second round for me with Capshaw Tree Services. I had three dead elms I inherited in my backyard hanging over my power lines and my neighbor's house. I just had a feeling that my luck was going to run out when the winter winds returned if I did not act now. Once again, great people to deal with over the phone, in person, and setting up the contract. No BS, the bid was straightforward. With a small window to my backyard, the CTS crew took care of my trees with no problems and no mess.
