I didn't expect that my 300th review would be about an overpriced cafe. Anyway that's life.
We were ambling around this ancient village a while when we came across this place on the outskirts.
While the coffees and the desserts were certainly tasty the price at around 16 euro for two people was on the steep side. I've had better coffee and cake in Deauville Northern France at less cost and it's a haunt for millionaires. I paid more for a piece of pie here than the price of a whole pie in Newry.
I mean I paid the equivalent price of a 3 course Indian lunch in Newry for the price of a coffee and one piece of pie here. I find it an unpleasant experience to be ripped off and while the seating in this place was comfortable and the servers were very pleasant and efficient I very much doubt I would return unless there an advertised deal. read more
