I have rarely done the reverse in which I need to send something through UPS. Well, it was a first for me yesterday! My cell phone recently died. It is under warranty, which means that I was eligible for a replacement phone in exchange for my dead one. I had to send the latter back and received a UPS label to print out. The idea is to slap this label onto my package, and then visit my local UPS store to drop it off. Simple. Easy. More importantly, it was free! My closest The UPS Store is on the north side Denison Street, just east of Woodbine Avenue. It's next to Hattendo and across from Swiss Chalet. I drove over here after work yesterday. There is always a ton of parking at this plaza. This review will be short because I spent less than a minute in the store. I walked in and two staff members said hi to me. The female staffer behind the counter asked if it was a drop-off. It was. Her male counterpart happily took my package from me, scanned it, and I was done. That's it? Yep. Painless and fast! I thanked both of them. They reciprocated. I checked my package's status online. It has made it to its destination this morning with proof of delivery. Yay! There are mailboxes for rent. They did a great job of taking their time and carefully hand wrapping everything. The owner was also great about multi-tasking when other customers arrived. I had previously stopped at a store in Sheppard where the line was 5 deep. So glad I drove a few miles further to this location.

    Small and busy shop. This is one of the only UPS locations that is open on Sundays. There was only…read moreone person working, and 4 customers as soon as the shop opened. Pack your patience, it wasn't the most efficient experience, though I appreciate the availability. When I dropped off my package, the associate took the box, but nothing was scanned, so, now I'll be refreshing my tracking number to ensure that it's marked as received. The shop itself was a bit messy, parcels were placed in front of the counter, in the middle of the open space where customers would stand, as well as stacked behind.

Later, we found out the cards were cashed and we don't know by whom. I had a mailbox at this location for a few years, because of their awful service I moved my mailbox to somewhere else. One of my old friends did not know about my change of address and sent two Amazon Gift Cards to my address at this location for my kids. The Amazon tracking number shows "Package was handed to a receptionist Signed by: Security". When we visited the store they said they did not have the package. We asked them to try to find it as it shows it was handed to the receptionist. I called a few times the day after and Shima told me I do not have a mailbox over there and if I had a mailbox they could have put my package in my mailbox. I explained to her they were not supposed to accept the package if I did not have a mailbox and it should have been marked to return to the sender. But since they accepted my package I needed to pick it up. But she kept saying they do not have that package. I explained the situation to my friend who sent the gifts, he called Amazon customer service to block both gift cards from being claimed but he was told both cards were already claimed by someone else. Amazon did not provide any name to us obviously but they know who did it and opened a case with their legal department for this fraud and they will update my friend soon. I can not make accusations but here is what happened. They accepted my package and signed for it, the package was lost after delivery, and the gift cards were claimed at someone's Amazon account that we don't know. The reasons I moved my mailbox from this location: - They could not find my packages 50% of the time (yes, 50% believe it or not). They were telling me it is still on the way while I was showing the tracking number to them that shows the package was delivered. Every time after I came back home, after a few hours they had called me and said that my package had just been delivered. So, I had to make an extra trip to pick it up. - Per UPS store policies when you have a package that does not fit in your mailbox, they are supposed to scan so you receive an automated email that you have a package to pick up. Every UPS store in North America does this except this location. I asked them a couple times and they said they do not do that. - Every time I went to pick up my package an hour after delivery, the owner told me the package had not been delivered yet. He was telling me not to believe the tracking numbers progress, when it says delivered means UPS has the package and is on the way. What ???!!! Many times I waited there until he looked for it everywhere and he came back with the package from the back and said he found it. - If I wanted to send something with UPS, it was a 40 minutes project, the same thing in other UPS stores takes 5 minutes. The owner does not know how to use a computer in my opinion and when he was alone at the store you could always see a long line with people rolling their eyes and tired, waiting for him to get their job done. I did not have the option to put 0 stars. They do not deserve 1 star at all.

    There was a special delivery project I needed to help out with at work. Basically we wanted to mass…read moreship some Christmas gifts from Calgary to a local delivery person and have them take them out of the shipping packages, attach a card and deliver them to the recipients (at about 15 locations). We needed a company that was willing to think and work outside of the box (pardon the pun). Despite approaching several companies, these guys were the only one of two companies to respond. They gave me a rough idea of pricing. I found this to be helpful as we didn't quite have our addresses ready yet. When it was time to ship, everything went as planned and they delivered the gifts as requested, in a very timely fashion. When there was one hiccup and it was thought that a gift had been missed or not received, they were able to quickly get us the singing information (despite it being the Friday afternoon before Christmas). I found the owner to be very professional and customer service oriented. I know what we wanted while not hard, was complicated. This was a one-off envelope pick-up and delivery, it was the 28th of Dec. and I needed it done the following day. Brett at Sprinting responded to both my email and phone call in less than half an hour, The pick up and delivery were completed the next day as promised and they even accomodated a delay in pick-up time.
