He easily could have attempted to sell me a new tire but he fixed the problem and charged me an extremely reasonable price. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I highly recommend coming to MBC tires, they are very honest and have great turnaround times.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I came here because I had a pin hole leaking coming from my tire, the BMW dealership didn't want to fix it, only replace it. I previously came to MBC because an old car of mine had a crack in one of its rims and I remembered that MBC was able to fix it overnight and had good pricing. I'm glad I came back to MBC for this tire issue as BMW was going to charge me $350+ for a new tire, when MBC charged me $25 to repair it and it only took 15 minutes. I will only be coming here for future tire needs. read more

I was ready to order 4 tires from FixGo and MBC was the shop that the tires would be delivered to near my zip code. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Before ordering the tires I visited the shop and chatted with Mike Jr. Very attentive to my questions.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered the tires, they were delivered to MBC. It's a classic vehicle and when we put up the car on the lift Mike Jr. allowed me to ask some questions about the old suspension and brakes. He was informative about what he saw and gave his honest opinion about the overall condition of the car. The new tire installation was very quick and reasonably priced. Hey Folks - I'm going to tell you a secret! You don't have to go very far to get great customer service when your car needs tires ... or complete auto service! This father and son business is where it's at! We went by yesterday to get a spare tire put on and it took all of 15 mins and we were on our way. What we loved was their great price, their professionalism, they know their business and take pride in their work and were kind and pleasant. I've been coming here for the past five years and am nothing but happy!!! Singing and dancing happy :@) They are ALWAYS very nice and knowledgeable and went the distance for me with my buddies moms Lexus is250 that had a small leak in the tire where the tire bead and wheel come together. What a headache but these guys solved it. They always give a good price and are nice to deal with. I've gotten a good price on my tires and like supporting the local guy outside the big box retailers. I've taken five different cars to them. Volvo S60, Lexus is250 Subaru Outback, Honda Fit and a Petrol Blue 1982 Mercedes 300SD in mint condition. read more

MBC Tires is awesome! I showed up today (Sunday) with a punctured tire and driving on a flat spare and they had my tire fixed and the spare pumped in less than 30 mins and then I was on my way with the rest of my day. They also checked the pressure on my other tires and checked my brakes as well (they were fine). They do tires AND brakes! The shop is run by a father and son and they were both friendly and efficient. The entire transaction went smoothly - 10/10 would recommend coming here, I plan to be back the next time I have an issue. read more

These guys are awesome. Today is my second time to get a used run flat tire. They are very efficient and the prices are much less than a brand new tire which is fine for me. I cannot tell the difference between a brand new tire and the 2 used ones I got so far anyway. read more

I had a giant nail in my tire, and it ruined by life. Just kidding, it really just annoyed the crap out of me. I generally get any car repairs done in San Gabriel valley, but I wasn't about to drive all the way there from the west side. Thank goodness for yelp, I found MBC. I rang in to get a quote, time frame, etc and they were super accommodating. The gentleman working on my car took really good care of the car and checked on the tires "just in case". This place is wonderful, the mechanics are nice and followed Covid guidelines. I had a warning light for my tires and they fixed it in 10 minutes and cheap. The mechanics were fair and did NOT overcharge which is really appreciated and hard to find when getting your car repaired. I've been there a couple of times for nails in tires, and they do good work. read more

They said there was no way of knowing the part was damaged or defective . In my opinion they should have checked the gasket while doing the oil change . I ended up paying $10 which I didn't feel was fair but; at least they could pay off their $3 part they replaced. Next day after the lecture and "repair" ITS LEAKING AGAIN! haaaahahah now I have to go to the dealer and figure out what they broke on my car. I'm glad I didn't pay the $48 the second time around considering I came in with a car that was perfectly fine and left with a leaking car . I took my '01 Crown Victoria here and they did a great job. While there, I asked if they could…read morealign an older vehicle, a '72 Mustang to be exact. They said they could and so I eventually brought it down. They did the alignment, and they did tell me "they did the best they could" and sent me on my way. The car just wasn't right. After some investigating on my part, I found that the shock tower was cracked and was messing with the upper control arm, making it difficult/impossible to align correctly. Was this their fault? Absolutely not. The car was in a wreck in the 80s (which I also shared with them) so I knew there were risks. However, I do feel that they saw this (given that the car was on the lift and in their face) and said nothing. Is it their responsibility to tell me? Also no.. but the fact that they charged me for the alignment, just said "we did our best" and sent me on my way seems a bit shady to me. A simple, "hey, we saw this crack and it's gonna give you issues in the near future" wouldn't have only been appreciated, but I also feel like it would've been the right thing to do.

My car came with upsized aftermarket rims and I asked them to install the new tires on my stock oem wheels which I had brought, still wrapped from being stored. They swapped the wheels and installed the oem back on the car with the new tires, wrapped my aftermarket rims and put them in the trunk and backseat for me to store until I either sell or install in our suv. With me agreeing to what needed to be done, he ordered the part (Saturday) and came back the next day (Sunday) to install it. Incredibly helpful and so polite, he showed me the new part, walked me through what he was going to do and afterward even showed me the part he removed and explained the wear and why it was actually perfect timing. Within hours I was up and running again, good as new. I have NEVER had service like this from a dealership in all my years of being a car owner and driver (and that's several decades). Will also flagged other things that I needed to be aware of (including needing an oil change - which I will be getting him to come and do) but at no point pushed for me to do them there and then - zero pressure, just guidance. He repeatedly asked if I had any questions and was keen for me to understand what was happening and why - superb! He even cleared up the work area after he'd finished. Flawless. Aside from the convenience and Will just being an incredibly nice guy, his attention to detail and service are second to none. The result was pretty incredible. The wheels looked good as new and honestly, I couldn't remember where the blemishes were . Months later the wheels looked great. Today, we got four wheels on my wife's car done, all with curb rash to a varying degree and the result was great. The challenge today wasn't the damage, it actually wasn't super complex or extensive. It was the color. From the factory, the color is pretty unique, but the Dr. Wheel team got it pretty much exactly. A special shout out to Jonathan, who came out to our house twice and did a great job. Friendly, professional, thorough, and just an all around solid dude. Not that I hope to get more curb rash on any of our wheels (nor do I wish that for you!), but if we do, we will definitely go back to them. We've already referred them to a few neighbors.

I took it in to a place AAA recommended in downtown LA and explain the issue. They told me I needed a new timing chain along with a whole bunch of other stuff and quotes me $4800 for it. This was preceded with a lot of scare tactics on what will happen if I don't have the work done, which came across as very used car salesman-ish. When I ran the quote through ChatGPT I was told they were charging me dealership pricing for an independent mechanic for that type of work in LA. So I brought the truck here to Speedway where I had Minor worked done before and had a good experience. They told me my bearings need to be replaced and did the work for lesson than a quarter of the price I was quoted at the other mechanic. Work was finished in a day and the truck has been running perfectly since then. Had I spent to 4800 at the place it wouldn't have even resolved the issue, which means I would've had to come out of the pocket even more after the initial work was done. Obviously a truck of this age is gonna have some problems and when they inevitably happen again I will be back here at Speedway to take care of them. Highly recommend this place for integrity, quality, efficiency and fair pricing.

Fred helped me out - he was very friendly and non-intimidating (great for a gal going to an auto shop by herself!) He explained that Tesla tires have some foam, so patching the tire for the nail he found would be $50. It was nice he took the time to explain why it was a certain cost, def appreciated. They have a really nice waiting area with seating + strong AC (it was a hot summer day in LA), I was really impressed. Paid by cash because there's a small fee for credit card. 100% recommend this spot - friendly and service was quick. I was in and out fasttt!

Anyone who builds off-road vehicles knows that finding the right shop is a niche and personal choice--you want a team you can trust with your rig. I had originally received a quote from a shop in San Diego, but when I realized there was a shop right here in my own backyard in Burbank, I wanted to try and keep my business local. I reached out and sent them the itemized list of work from the previous shop to see what they could do. What followed was some of the most unprofessional behavior I've ever experienced. The guy who called me back came out swinging, practically yelling at me over the phone. He was incredibly defensive, snapping, "Just so you know, we are $275 an hour for labor, and I see you cut this invoice out from someone else's estimate. We are more expensive than them." He sounded deeply insecure and visibly furious that a customer would dare to shop around for the best fit. He later left a voicemail asking me to call back. When I did, a different guy answered the phone and spoke to me like I was a debt collector harassing him. When I answered his question about who I was looking for and our previous conversation, he rudely interrupted me mid-sentence, blurting out, "OKAY, WELL I HAVE ANOTHER CALL SO..." and literally just trailed off into silence. I just hung up. Why would I ever let people who treat human beings this way get anywhere near my vehicle? How does a business survive operating like this? I had a $12,000 job ready to go for tire replacements, a suspension overhaul, front bumper replacement, roof rack and heavy maintenance work. Instead of securing a massive project, these clowns let their egos and hostile communication skills ruin the transaction. Out of principle, take your hard-earned money and your rig somewhere else. Go to a shop where people actually practice basic kindness, respect, and professional communication. The way this entire crew came across was like a bunch of snakes. Save yourself the headache and go to another off-road establishment. And know that this place charges an hourly labor rate of $275 an hour.

I was in Los Angeles on weekend a couple weeks ago and had a tire pop on the freeway on my way to Santa Monica. It sent me flying into some rubble and into a ditch. Luckily neither I nor anyone else got hurt. I googled a nearest tire place I could find and MBC showed up. I towed my car there and they changed my tire for 60 bucks. I was like HECK, in that case, CHANGE ALL MY TIRES! as they were changing my tires I noticed a couple of dings and dents on the passenger side bumper. Even though they were a tire place, out of curiosity, I asked if they could fix it. THEY DID! They said it would take about in hour so I went to grab a bite and when I came back it was done! Not only did they do that, the mechanic next door (I assume they're friends) threw in an oil change for free. I guess they appreciated me changed all tires when I only need one. These guys were hilarious and I felt really good about giving them the chance to do the work on my car. If I'm ever in LA with car troubles again, I will definitely call Mikey and his boys at MBC. read more

I've never written a review for any place but I made an account just to give them the rating they deserve. They're easy to miss among the many tire stores in the area but from my experience, I am never going anywhere else again for anything tire related (I think they do oil changes and some other services too). I'm sad they don't have more people rating how great they are. You might as well stop by on your scavenge for the best service and deals, I can assure you they are one of the best, if not the best. read more

Apparently Will retired and his son operates the shop now, but he still comes in to help out from time to time. The technicians were equally as friendly and upon removing the front wheels, noticed uneven wear on the treads and steel wires exposed on one of the inner tires. Due to the safety concern, I decided to replace all four tires and opted for an alignment to fix the uneven wear from before. They stock budget-friendly tire brands and have some more performance-focused brands as well. If they don't have what you want in stock, they can order it quickly. While the technicians and the alignment specialist, Rudy, were working on my vehicle, I was busy chatting with Will. There business has expanded and they opened up a full mechanic shop on the same block - "Sparky's." Will actually walked me over to show me the new shop. Once the new tires were on and the alignment complete, Rudy came over and explained what my original alignment measurements were and how they are now. It's clear from my visit today that Will and Rudy take pride in their work. I will definitely be coming back for my tires/wheels/suspension needs and will give their mechanic shop a try when I need work done.

They said they could and so I eventually brought it down. They did the alignment, and they did tell me "they did the best they could" and sent me on my way. The car just wasn't right. After some investigating on my part, I found that the shock tower was cracked and was messing with the upper control arm, making it difficult/impossible to align correctly. Was this their fault? Absolutely not. The car was in a wreck in the 80s (which I also shared with them) so I knew there were risks. However, I do feel that they saw this (given that the car was on the lift and in their face) and said nothing. Is it their responsibility to tell me? Also no.. but the fact that they charged me for the alignment, just said "we did our best" and sent me on my way seems a bit shady to me. A simple, "hey, we saw this crack and it's gonna give you issues in the near future" wouldn't have only been appreciated, but I also feel like it would've been the right thing to do.
