The person who quoted me told me my tire had already been patched 3x and it was illegal to patch the tire again. (This is untrue, which I know because I take care of my own car - and it is NOT against the law.) I have the printed quote. My intuition told me this was not correct and I requested they put the tire back on so I could go elsewhere. They told me they would only give me a 'loaner tire' because it was unsafe to put my tire back on. I refused and had to go into the service area and demand the original tire back. Once it was back on, I drove down the street to another place that looked at the tire, said it lost a few pounds of air, filled it, and I was on my way in 10 min. The tire has been 100% fine since - it is now more than a month later. During this timeframe I've also been to the dealership for a scheduled maintenance and they found nothing wrong with the tire. My car is less than 3 yrs old. It's so disheartening to see businesses try to take advantage of customers who they assume don't know any better. Please do not go here and have them take your money dishonestly! I have been going to Davis Bros Tires on and off for years and recommended them to others.
