I've heard nothing back. Here they are hiring again. I apply, nothing. Their phone is shut off so you can't call them to inquire about your applications, so I went inside to ask. "I don't know what to tell you, just wait." She said it in a tone that was annoyed and angry for even asking. It was embarassing. I tried to keep things light and ask about any available positions and was interrupted and told "idk just look at the website I'm not the manager." Yeah, I gathered that. It's sad, really would've been a great employee. ALDI needs to stop posting if they aren't serious.

I had been talking this place up to our team to let them know it was good food. This year was different, we had 2 hours between games so we thought we would go and order a pizza. We arrived at 5:30 and got our order in at the bar. Sitting and waiting, the bartender never checked on us or our drinks. 6:20, still no pizza. Finally a different bartender comes to check on us and we ask can you find out about our pizza? He comes out and brings the pizza and it's ice cold, he said it's been sitting back there for some time and no one ever brought it out. Now we have no time to wait for another pizza. He apologized even though he was not the bartender who took the order. Then the original bartender comes back over and fails to see the problem and never once apologizes. Just said he got busy. I get it, it happens. But they just left a pizza sit back there for 40 minutes and never thought hey someone might want that? The bartender could not understand why we were upset. And he was so defensive. I told the other guy I understand mistakes can happen but for him not to own up to it and be so rude to me after his mistake. I thought it was unacceptable. I had never felt so disrespected at a restaurant in my life. It really ruined the night, especially since we were looking forward to this for so long. Extremely dissapointed and it really did ruin the weekend. Hopefully this bartender can get it figured out and not be so rude to his next guests.

During our stay in Burlington we passed the Pizza Ranch and decided to give it a try. For $15.99…read morefor the buffet it was a decent deal. The buffet included pizza, fried chicken with typical sides like mashed potatoes and biscuits, and a salad bar and dessert bar. The two stars are due to two things. First, the one staff person we interacted with the most came across as miserable and if she was miserable you were going to be miserable too. Apparently we are the first people to enter the restaurant who were not familiar with how Pizza Ranch operates. This staff person reacted in disbelief at simple questions like "do we seat ourselves?" And "is there a menu or just the buffet?" We quickly learned you pay first and everyone gets the buffet even though there is a menu. Second, while the hours on the door say the restaurant closes at 9 pm, the restaurant actually closes at 8 pm. We didn't know this when we entered around 7:20. At 8 pm the staff person mentioned earlier walked around asking diners if they were done. When everyone said yes they started putting everything away. I went to grab a last piece of dessert but discovered the staff person had just stacked all the remaining dessert to take back to the kitchen and when she saw me she had a look of "what the hell do you think you're doing?" Overall, we were fed for a reasonable price but if you go bring your sense of humor and go early.
