I enjoyed my cocktail, Garden of Aphrodite, which was $5 off for Thirsty Thursday. They also gave me a free scoop of gelato with a sparkler for my birthday which was nice. While we did not sit outdoors, they seem to have a nice outdoor area as well. The food was good, nothing groundbreaking, but everything I wanted. I had the chicken souvlaki which was tender and seasoned very well. I really enjoyed the garlic potatoes it came with. We shared the saganaki, which they were able to make gluten free, and the Greek salad as appetizers. The salad seemed very fresh and was a nice way to start the meal. I had the Greek spritz to drink and enjoyed it. Very refreshing and light. One of the people I was with got the baklava for dessert and really enjoyed it. It is served with a brown sugar gelato that he raved about. Overall, I would definitely come back to this spot. Our server was kind and attentive and the food was everything I had hoped it would be.

Much like Jess B. mentioned in the 2/23/25 review, I came in expecting a great Greek breakfast but ended up with something that felt more like a standard diner experience. That said, the young woman who greeted and served us was fantastic -- attentive, friendly, and professional throughout the meal. I ordered the pancakes with eggs. The pancakes were far too doughy and oddly topped with whipped cream, sprinkles, and bananas -- a presentation that felt more suited to a child's menu than an adult breakfast order. Want to put a cute topping on my cakes - you should ask me. They were also overcooked, as was the over-hard egg. At one point I even joked to my girlfriend that it felt like there must be a college kid running the kitchen. The service saved the experience, but the food definitely needs improvement.

I want to start with the cons:…read more Parking: lot is surprisingly small and fills often, signs all over warning against parking in grass (fine), but plenty still parked in grass Groups: I've read negative reviews on this and yes they do seem to have a pretty small maximum group size, I saw a large group get split into two tables that weren't closeby, that party did kids and adults table so they didn't seem to mind. If you have more than 6 you might get separated , I would call and ask ahead. Now for the goods: Atmosphere: great small town sports vibe, TVs at many of the tables! Staff: incredibly friendly I would come again on this alone. Wings: if you come on Wednesday's you're in for a treat. Amazing deal if you want 10 or 20 wings. Their standard buffalo sauce is amazing very unique and the color is unique, more buttery than hot in my opinion. Pizza: this was my first time trying pizza in Calgary. I found it to be very tasty and priced well. Not sold yet on the crispy cheese on top, tasted a little too crispy in some spots but I'll give it another try for sure! Great local place with small time feelings! I will come again, especially on Wednesday's!

The host mentioned that the restaurant was recently remodeled. We opted to sit on the patio since it was a nice night. We started with the tuna stack and potstickers. Good size portions! For dinner, we ordered the Thai prawn curry laksa. Laksa is one of my favorite Singaporean dishes so excited to try this. Not bad. The curry was on the thin side but the flavors were good for a non-Asian restaurant. The desserts looked great but I was so full from appetizers and the entree. The service was great. The host and waitresses were so nice and attentive. They checked in through dinner.

I consider a place top notch when my wine is refilled before it's empty, lol. This was a while ago, so I can't remember what we ordered but we both enjoyed our meals. This week at work I have received nothing but praise and good reviews about the food and the service from Amici's, one of the most common responses being "Wow, I think this has to be one of the best Christmas parties we've had in a long time!" and "We should go there again!". In fact, there has been a number of our staff who have said they want to go back again with their own families! The food was hot, delicious, and on time, the serving staff was professional and speedy, we really couldn't ask for more. Thank you so much Amici's! You made our holiday party a success!

I went in today for the first time in a long time and could not have been more disappointed.... When I first walked in (alone) the gentleman who approached me seem confused when I asked to sit in the lounge and then another man came up and sat me in a dark lounge with no music and the tv off. I asked for a martini which was on the menu and he had no idea how to make (took easily about 10-12min) because he'd just disappear for extended periods of time, when I finally got it it was disgusting and I sent it back. I had ordered mussels that he said were great, they were barely cooked in what I can only describe in a tomato bland pasta sauce and served with bread that wasn't even toasted.
