I've been coming to Jax cuts over the past 3-4 years seeing Michelle who's done a great job with my hair each time, but since she moved I recently made my first appointment with Jack the owner of the place. I had a great experience! Jack is super friendly and a great conversationalist, and keeps his prices affordable here. Cuts now start at $35 and appointments last about 30 minutes, which I appreciate how fast and efficient he is with getting the job done. There is super convenient street parking, and since it's just half a block from Sprouts Farmers Market, it's perfect for combining with a grocery run. Ann provides expert cuts at incredibly reasonable prices, and she always listens carefully to exactly what we want. Plus, she gives the most amazing, relaxing scalp massage during the wash! When I contacted her to make my appointment, I told her that I would like to do a cut and dark blue beyalage. She then asked me for a current picture of my hair, and also a sample picture of what I was thinking of doing. At our appointment, she took meticulous care of my hair and recommended what I could do to take care of it. I also love our banter. I had not a single person to ask for a recommendation to keep up my fragile light blonde hair. To make matters worse the water was turning my hair brassy and flat. It took me less than 20 minutes to find Jennie online, she has wonderful reviews and great style (see her blog and Pinterest.) I booked and was able to get in within the week. Over the course of the next year or so, I saw Jennie about ten times. Each time the color was amazing, she achieved the vanilla blonde I wanted time after time, and not once did I have those dreaded highlight stripes. I found this salon on Yelp by reaching out using their Project tool. The salon responded quickly and offered me time slots to come in over the holidays. The lady who responded to my requests was very professional and was fantastic on follow-up! Long story short, my hair was a mess and at least four different colors. Kelly did an excellent job making my hair look so beautiful with the color she applied. My hair looks 100 percent better, and it matches my skin tone better than it did before.
