I always get a take away from here but they do deliver and the restaurant is deceivingly big, so would easily cater for large groups. I cannot priase this restaurant highly enough. If you are looking for a nice relaxing evening out with great food and drink, then visit the east glory restaurant. You have a choice of all you can eat from a menu. It's not food under a heat lamp either you choose your dishes from the menu and the staff will take your order to the chef who will cook all of the food freshly for you there and then. Choose from Starters followed by a 2nd dish and then you can move onto your main courses. Aternatively you can simply stick to the main menu.

Currently it is £5.99 for lunch during the week, which is excellent value. The buffet contains mainly Chinese food. There are about 10 different starters, 20 or so main courses and some desserts. In a sense the place itself is somewhat basic - in that it has tiles instead of carpet - there are no table cloths etc, but this doesn't spoil it at all. You leave your used plate on the table while you go and get some more food and by the time you return it has been taken away-brilliant! recommended.

So I rang again ( for the 2nd time ) by this time my food was cold. When I rang the 2nd I stated that I wanted a new Cantonese chicken as mine was cold from the fact that I couldn't eat it as I had no chips, at first the lady on the phone did not seem to get what I was saying. FINALLY WHEN MY FOOD ARRIVED IN FULL after waiting an hour and a half after my family members had eaten their food, I found a lovely ( note the sarcasm) hair imbedded in my battered chicken ... Upon arrival to refund me for my chicken the driver refused to give the refund to me as half of the food as on my plate.... Absolutely awful manners by the drive who spoke to me like rubbish and had a vile attitude .. I must also state that my food was delivered by a 13 year old boy ... Who legally should not be working . SUCH SHODDY CUSTOMER SERVICE. I DONT EXPECTED TO BE LAUGHED AT DOWN THE PHONE WHILST COMPLAINING TO THE STAFF MEMBER. IT WAS UNPROFESSIONAL AND ALSO HEARING STAFF ARGUING IN THE SHOP WHILST IM ON THE PHONE IS POOR .... I AM GOING TO TRADING STANDARDS AND THE HEALTH AUTHORITIES TOMORROW MORNING ... I will also be contacting the manager in the near future 1* is very generous of me ( in fact they do not deserve even one star)

Hands down the best Chinese take away in Chester…read more I have been working in Chester on and off for nearly a year and I have been recommended to try Ken's Kitchen countless times yet this was my first visit. Food tastes great and isn't too pricey. Large menu choice from all different styles of Chinese cuisine. The food was all freshly cooked and tasted perfect. If anything the portion sizing was massive but who is complaining. Price wise I don't recall a single item on the menu above a tenner and my entire meal was about £15. The staff were lovely and efficient. Food took around 15 - 20 mins to be prepared and then I was ready to go. No wonder all the locals rave about this place.

The chips are far better than those from the place across the way, and they offer the usual fish n chip menu. One thing to watch out for is the opening hours, we were in need of chips on a Wednesday evening but had to settle for an inferior brand!
