The chips are far better than those from the place across the way, and they offer the usual fish n chip menu. If you prefer to eat in, there there are plenty of seats, and the staff are all very friendly. The prices seem reasonable although the cost has gone up in recent months. One thing to watch out for is the opening hours, we were in need of chips on a Wednesday evening but had to settle for an inferior brand!

The location seems pretty modern towards the back of the store (ordering and pick-up area), however, the rest of the store (seating area onwards) seemed poorly kept and dirty, even by McDonald's standard. I ordered a Millionaire's Latte via the ordering app, there was some confusion with my order as it appeared to come up as ready on the big-screen before they had even finished it, the espresso quality was really watery and it was tasteless, to make matters worse it wasn't even that hot, other than a blob of squashed chocolate-scented cream, it just tasted like hot water. The staff also seemed rushed, even though the store wasn't too busy and they had maybe 3 or 4 other orders at the same time, which shouldn't be a problem for a large store with more staff members working than that (If it had to be done, each staff member could have done an order each with ease). It really does seem this McDonald's store has declined even by McDonald's standards since the peak of reviews (which were even average back then) in the late 2000's/early 2010's and it just doesn't seem up to scratch here anymore, I even had to throw away my drink it was terrible. 1*

Though after the refurb of the cafe style Mcdonalds of present day it has got alot better to acces when the store has been extremely busy like in summer holidays or Christmas. The price of the meals will always be of decent value although sometimes they seem to put the burger together must be a one handed art, becuase im speachless eash time i open my burger wrapper/box. To be honest mcDonalds Dru thru i find are alot better than teh restaurants if you can stand your car smelling of burgers and fries for a few hours.

The Chinese menu has all the usual fayre and the quality is good throughout. The english selection (fish, sausage, chicken and chips) are all equally as good and can be purchased as a 'meal' deal. Food is excellent, I always try something new because I know even if what I choose isn't for me, I'll still appreciate the quality. I always have the salt and pepper ribs no matter what I'm having, I can always make room for them. The pork in OK sauce is phenomenal, definitely worth a try if you haven't already.

Food tastes great and isn't too pricey. Large menu choice from all different styles of Chinese cuisine. The food was all freshly cooked and tasted perfect. If anything the portion sizing was massive but who is complaining. Price wise I don't recall a single item on the menu above a tenner and my entire meal was about £15. The staff were lovely and efficient. Food took around 15 - 20 mins to be prepared and then I was ready to go. No wonder all the locals rave about this place.
