She keeps the boys in the garage in check and has fantastic customer service skills. She remembers everyone's name when they come in and if I have had to wait before seeing her, she is alway apologetic. In fact, the noticeboard in the office is full of letters saying thank you and commending the place and the excellent customer service. The lads who work in the garage are very nice too. My car has never needed to stay over night and I usually get it back at the end of the day if I have booked it in early in the morning. Once, my car needed quite a lot doing to it, but they phoned me before they went ahead with it as it was going to be pricey and wanted to ensure I still wanted to go through with it. I thought that this was really professional and fair. They also always offer to give me a lift back home, which is not too far away, which is very kind too. I like this place as the staff are brilliant and they are professional and treat my car well. Very trustworthy and helpful people.

My first impression was that Paul was of a professional manner and I was grateful he was offering of assistance on a bank holiday weekend. However, when the vehicle was returned after having a clutch and gearbox replacement it was highly apparent something wasn't right. Not only was there an high-pitched squeal from under the bonnet but also driving only 50 metres down the road I discovered the brake's were completely unsafe. Paul was highly uncooperative and immediately defensive when I informed him of the issues I had. Working away for long periods of time, I had no option but to pay for another mobile mechanic to diagnose the fault and it could be seen that the brake servo pipe was snapped (accidentally I presume as it is flimsy, but still costly! And very obvious when driving) and that neither hose on the air intake manifold has been reattached correctly. Cost to make the car roadworthy again were to the tune of £120 (£40 part, £80 labour). Also, gear stick was attached wrong way round.

He's a trustworthy chap, offering a range of comprehensive services including repairs, servicing, tyre sales, wheel-alignment and MOTs. Since he was recommended to my girlfriend of the time by owner Phil's next door but one neighbour, I've happily recommended him to other people. And they have done the same. At the time of writing in Summer 2012 they are running a seasonal promotion where they are offering a pre-holiday multi-point vehicle safety check. It's that kind of thinking that is proof that this company is a cut-above.

We took our car in for a service, MOT and some minor repairs: all of which were dealt with very efficiently, with no fuss and no further problems. And at a perfectly reasonable price. The car was ready to pick up the next day, at the time that they said it would be and all has been well since. Its nice to find a trustworthy garage. Now go and tell your friends.

i recently visited this shop to get 4 new tyres and was really impressed with the service i…read morereceived. there was plenty of staff there and i only had a small wait before something was able to see to me. they were very busy but was able to look up the tyres on the computer and order them for a time suitable for me. When i returned the tyres were changed quickly and the staff even drove my car in for me (im abit of a wimp when driving in small spaces!). The prices were alot cheaper than i expected. The only negative i could find was that the car park was small considering the amount of business they hve.

This place accommodated me at 6pm before I left for London; they found out why my wheels kept going…read moreflat, it was because the previous garage (Calthorpe Tyres in Acocks Green) didn't clean the rim when they put the new tyre on. Twice. They were great, they don't take card but we're flexible with me going to get the money. They are also always, which I take as a good sign. Friendly and recommended!
