The course was easy to find, easy parking. They gave us a discount for being first responders when asked! Challenging at times and fun. Great decor, great grounds, very clean. Clean bathrooms too. read more

Mayday Golf - Mayday golf - Mini Golf Near Me - North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

There are a gazillion mini golf courses in Myrtle. I can't say how this compares to any others because this is the only one we've been to, but I was really pleasantly surprised at how well maintained the course was! read more

We play a lot of Put Put golf, but this is by far the best. Now it is a difficult course so if your up for a challenge then I highly recommend this one. The course is very well maintained and the staff (especially Shannoy) are delightful. read more

I went here for my first time and I will be coming back to play the other course because I only played one so now I have to play the other and the person there was very nice and was helpful and tried to get us to play more but we were on a stricken scheduled and I will definitely be going back next fall read more

This was a great course, lots of fun! There are actually two 18 hole courses. One easy and one hard course. They had lots of different sized putters to choose from, even super tiny and light plastic ones for littles. The staff was very friendly and they were running a deal allowing us to play both courses for less money. If you opt to do both courses you don't have to play the both in one day, we went two nights in a row to play both courses. I definitely recommend this one! read more

Everything here is great! The course is in great condition and there are 2 different courses to run through. With many animal statues the place is decorated nicely! read more

This place was fun, but it's a little expensive for multiple people. The decorations are interesting and the courses are challenging, but $15 per person was more than we were expecting for one course. We won't pay $45 for the three of us to play mini-golf again. read more

Golfed here with the family and had a great time! Challenging course, friendly staff and reasonable prices and offers!

Friendly staff and 2 nice fun courses. They offered the courses as buy one get one half off so we got to play both for a good price.

The golf course is ok, not challenging at all, very clean and well maintained. My main issue is the pricing! No pricing available on the website, makes me think they change it often. When first arriving the price sheet posted at the register shows $12.10 for 5+, $9.10for 4 and under.... Really?? Seems crazy to me that a 5yo should be charged the same as an adult! There is also a sign that states taxes are included in pricing... why then for 4 (2 adults, a 10yo and a 5yo) was the total $52? Also my husband is a veteran, so we asked for the military discount, $2 off, but only for him!?! Really, this is a first! Everyone else discounts the entire family. Yesterday we went to another Professor Hackers Golf place and for the 4 of us with all receiving the military discount, it was $41.... Totally inconsistent. read more

Best people around came in here feeling like garbage and the staff alone changed my mood entirely. Highly suggest the holes are super fun and difficult but really good for kids at the same time! read more

First we played both courses at Professor Hacker's Mayday Golf, and then took our scorecards to Dinosaur Adventure Golf, getting a discount on our game there. Both of these sites were very well-kempt, with a tricky blind cave shot at Mayday standing out as particularly memorable. Mayday also had a prize for a Hole-in-one, which at first sounds laughable, but these holes are rigged. No one is getting a Hole-in-one. The helicopter and airplane at Mayday and dinosaur statues at Dinosaur Adventure are very cool. This is a pair of courses not to be missed, and the deal for playing at both can't be beat. read more

For $60 bucks you would think they could blow the trash off the course. Nice theme just wish they put some effort into it.

This course is very well kept. You get the occasional leaf on the turf but overall it plays very well. The lady at the register was very kind and welcoming. My wife and I had a great time play through both the courses. read more

This place was awesome! My fiancé and I had a great time! We chose the more challenging course, most of which were a par 2/3. This would be awesome to bring the kids to. Decorations were great and there was so much to look at and enjoy! Definitely come here if you're in the area! We will be back! read more

Mayday Golf - Mini Golf Near Me - North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Have always wanted to play this course. After many mini golf rounds at various places in Myrtle Beach this is by far the best! It is extremely well maintained. No surface wear whatsoever. This is such a fun course to play. Every age can enjoy this with just enough strategy to keep everyone entertained. If there were more than 5 stars this place would get it. Add Mayday to your list ASAP. We were glad we did? read more

Outstanding course. We played 4 mini golf courses in the area over the course of the week and this one was my favorite. It's incredibly well maintained and the staff was great. Grab an extra ball when you pay - you're likely to lose at least one down the river! read more

This is an AMAZING coarse, very clean and soothing. The workers when I was there (Gordon and Shanoy) were amazing and generous workers. That is why I give this place such a high rating read more

This is a fun little course, with some challenging holes. It has a rescue motif, with a plane and a Coast Guard helicopter poised above it all, along with plenty of water features, umbrellas for shade, and nice, well-kept landscaping. The folks who own the place are nice and pleasant, and treated my kids well. That's always a plus. We had a great time here before we went to dinner. read more

I haven't golfed other places in Myrtle Beach, so it's hard to say if this was great, okay, or poor. But, from what I've seen, it was decent. The grounds are well kept. It had rained earlier, so some of the greens were a little squishy, but we accepted that going in there. The holes themselves weren't that great. This is not a "hit it into the clown's mouth" kind of mini golf. The holes were pretty basic - just some undulating greens, maybe a turn or one object in the way, but mostly it was putting practice for the regular golfer. If that's how it is here, then so be it. Driving by other places, I get the feeling that's how things are. So, in general, if you're looking for creative, challenging, and unique mini golf holes, this won't make you happy. If you're fascinated by surroundings (like a crashing airplane, or a hovering rescue copter), then this place will give you plenty to look at. It was a decent deal, imho. For $9 you can play 18 holes. For an additional $2, you can play the other 18 (you almost HAVE to do that!). So we hit 36 holes. It was muggy out, so we were happy to be done (thankfully, there's a Sonic next door - hellooooo slushies!) read more

This one doesn't have a story, but I still loved the mayday course and all the photo opportunities with the plane, helicopters and animal statues. The mayday mountain course was challenging and fun! The cashier was very nice! We didn't get the mystery hole in one today, but it was an intriguing part of the experience where we were trying even harder for a hole in one to find it! They also have a discounted rate if you want to go another round. If you get a hole in one in the mystery hole it's another free game! We had a lot of fun!! read more

My family and I loved playing here over the years. There are two different courses. Rescue Falls has no steps and Mayday Mountain has steps. I do agree that the holes on either course aren't too challenging, but you still have fun playing nonetheless. The foliage is beautiful and the course is always well maintained. We usually gold early in the morning when they open and the staff we've encountered are always friendly and invite you to come back. read more

Mayday Golf - Mini Golf Near Me - North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Went at 6 PM on a Thursday, and it was pretty quiet. Cost was $11 per person. We played the Mayday course. It was well maintained and very clean. I was just hoping it would have more fun "challenge" holes. read more

My Grandson has SMA and the lady at Mayday went out of her way to accomodate us.

Super fun course! Challenging but fun! Only one course was open, the other was closed for renovations but the one I played was amazing!

Great putt putt course! Played both courses, Gordan was super friendly and helpful!

We had a great time at Mayday Golf today! Thank you to Gordon and Terry Anne for being so nice! Hospitality goes a long way! We will definately be back! read more

This is one of the better mini golfs I've played. The course is well kept and is a good challenge for adults, which is good, as many of these courses are way too easy and geared towards kids. Prices are similar to other courses in the area and there's two to choose from. We decided to play the Mayday course and it was not crowded at all and were able to play through without being stuck behind any slow moving groups. Highly recommended! read more

Mayday has been around for while and still is one of the best miniature golf courses in North Myrtle Beach to play. You will enjoy the atmosphere of well kept courses. Enjoyed the challenge of the mountain course as you travel around the famous airplane the miniature gold course is known for. Some holes look easy and yet you will find a surprise and some holes look hard and with a right bounce you get a hole in one. But highly recommend this course for those who are miniature golf enthusiasts and for those looking for a fun time read more

The giant plane and helicopter is cool enough, but it isn't the most exciting put put course in general. There's not much of a challenge on most of the holes and they're fairly strait forward. It's $9 to play 9 holes and $12 to play 18 holes, which is a little bit more expensive than the norm which I think is $10 for 18 holes. Personally, I like Mutiny Bay (the pirate ship one) the best in the Myrtle Beach area and I think it integrates the course theme better. (Plus they have an arcade as well!) read more

Nothing to write home about here. Please note, I'm not a super great mini-golfer but this course was pretty simple even for me. It was $9 for an adult to play on one of the two courses they had. For an extra $3 you could add the second course. One round was enough for us. We blew through the entire course very quickly and were sort of bored with it. read more

Mayday Golf was A-OK. The people who run the place are super nice and friendly. The grounds are beautiful - very well laid out and decorated. The restrooms were immaculate. The price was very reasonable - I think it was like $9 per person. My only complaint was the fairways were very simplistic. There was no real challenge in any of the holes - no slopes or bumps, no obstacles. They were all pretty much a flat green from the tee to the hole. That aspect was a little disappointing. Aside from that, my family and I had a very nice round of minigolf here at Mayday. read more

As we drove into North Myrtle Beach we saw the massive plane and helicopter sticking out from the course and immediately knew that we needed to experience the course. We came back and decided to try the course. We arrived late on a Sunday afternoon to a course that was mostly empty. The elderly man working behind the counter greeted us curtly and we purchased one round for $9, although they also had a special to play both courses for $12. Although I am not a putt-putt professional I was very disappointed in the course and my friends who play more frequently were also disappointed. There are a number of cool streams but the actual course was absurdly easy. Almost every hole was a straight shot that lacked obstacles. After finishing our round we also walked the second course and discovered that it was the same mediocre course-essentially a glorified putting green. I would recommend merely looking at the planes because the course is definitely not worth it. read more

We really enjoyed May Day. There are two courses, both are similar enough. The holes were moderately challenging. I don't think there were too many easy gimmes, but none that were incredibly maddening either. This would be a fine course for all ages. There are some good photo spots throughout and the landscaping is nice. The whoosh of the helicopter propeller is neat. read more

This was a lot of fun! You can tell they take care and maintain the courses. The price was great and the staff was friendly. We will definitely come back next year! read more

Very well kept course. A lot of green, healthy plants and island music to help with the ambiance. Like others have said, it's not hit the ball through a windmill type of mini golf, but the holes can be challenging with the fake grass even having patches of rough to up the anty. Really enjoyed the courses compared to other places. Staff is very friendly and the bathrooms are very clean. Would definitely return. read more

Every time I am in Myrtle Beach I stop to play at Mayday. Pat is always there and he always greets me and my family with a smile. He is honestly one of the nicest people I have ever met! The two courses at Mayday, Rescue Falls and Mayday Mountain, are always in great condition and guarantee fun. I like Mayday because both courses require skill and have chances for hole in ones based on skill, and not all luck. Both courses have a great atmosphere and are beautiful! I highly recommend stopping by Mayday Golf! read more
