Their Christmas window display is always fantastic and the shop looks amazing at Easter and around Valentine's Day. This is, frankly, the only place to buy Easter eggs from. They are made from the best quality chocolate, the shells are thick, and are stuffed with a selection of eggs, chocolates and truffles. It was great being talked through the process by Gerrard Coleman, and sources of the cocoa beans. Took part in the different processes from sorting and roasting the beans to conching. On this day we made a bar out of Jamaican beans, which is now in the stores for a limited time only. (with our names also on the packaging!) I would highly recommend if you get a chance to go to one of their chocolate workshop days - you will definitely have as much fun as I did, and meet other like-minded chocoholics!!! :-)

Once you enter this old-fashioned sweet shop, you will find it hard to leave. Apart from shelves full of all sorts of sweets from around the world, the main attraction is the counter laden with fudge. There are so many types and flavours of fudge on offer, that it's hard to choose. I usually end up leaving this shop with many paper bags containing small amounts of different flavours. I can vouch they are all delicious and you'll probably be back for more. :) There are also jars of jams, marmalades, curds as well as hard candy on offer. My only complaint is that the service tends to be a bit slow. Overall, a nice little shop full of sweet treats for children and adults alike.
