Hidden boutique in the neighborhood, not expected, but almost always has something very fashionable and affordable. It carries sizes from XS to XXL, I like overall styles that they offer, however, it's more like hit or miss with me. That is the reason I come to this store once or twice a month to check out what's new. Employees are helpful and nice. Every time when I asked for assistance, someone was there to help. Why 4 stars? Couple of things: fitting rooms look old, run down and for some reason had a funky smell. And their jewelry section has gone bad. Lot of items were broken and were missing rocks or pieces. I honestly love this store. Similar to Boomy but they actually let you try clothes on! Store is always clean and organized, great deals. Sure the clothes aren't great quality but you get what you pay for. Service has always been good too. read more

Very disappointed. Some of their clothes were very cute and good customer service unfortunately they don't properly communicate with their staff or lack training. Their dressing rooms are not open (I understand Covid but many places allow that now) and so the girl working there at the time of my purchase told me fitting rooms were not open but I had 10 days to return and get a full refund or store credit after that. She said it with such conviction I trusted that and purchased two pants. I came back today to return to find out that that is NOT their policy and they only do exchanges or store credit. When I asked if I could speak to a manger or at least get store credit the cashier ran to the back to let the Manger know and she sent her back letting me know to wait till she was back. Which would be about 20 minutes. The cashier wanted to be helpful and asked me who misinformed me but they did nothing to try to correct THEIR mistake. Unfortunately never coming here again. The items for sell here range from average to mall prices ... but I feel they have better clothes than the mall the material on the jeans are awesome! I wish they had a May Max rewards card because I go there every week and spend about $100 each visit! I love May Max and they don't have one where I live (which is Palmdale) but I work in Pacoima. So this is a well worth it drive even on my days off. Wish they had a bit more variety for plus size when I get gifts for people but no complaints on my shopping. read more

Love the things they sell, but the customer service is sooo horrible!!! I went here today with my sister and I had a big handbag (cause that's wtf I'm into) and one of their guy employee was literally following my sister and I around the store because he thought we were going to steal something. He even snatched the clothes from my sisters hand and asked if we wanted him to put them in the front, she said no twice and he still persisted, which was when I said ok cool you can leave them in the front. Then we continue shopping and he still comes by us and asks if we're going to pay for them or if he should just put them back and I said NO we're going to pay for them! After that my sister comes up to me and says she heard him tell another girl employee how I had a big bag and she had a small bag which was when I decided to just go and pay. When he saw my little sister paying for her own items with a $100 bill, his face went blank. I guess no one can have a big bag these days cause trust issues are beyond real at this store. Point is, we would of bought way more items at this place if he wouldn't have been an insinuating jerk! read more
