We discussed the job and I was told they would be ready by the following Tuesday. OK, sounds great. Just as we were finishing the paperwork, he gave me a quote of $35 each. Pretty ridiculous for a 2 by 3-inch placard with 7 letters engraved, and the second 1/2" by 1 inch with three characters. Those are f### y## prices for a job he apparently didn't really want to do, but I needed them done sooner than promised and agreed to Tuesday anyway. I heard nothing so called mid-morning Tuesday and was told, "it's on my work list to finish today." That was the last communication, and I had to initiate it. I ended up going to T&T Nameplate / Cable Markers on north Alton the following afternoon where I got two of each placard done for $35 total, and finished just after their opening time the next morning. Obviously there are people happy with South Coast, but I'd never walk in their door again.
