Six weeks after I gave them a deposit to have my wedding reception at one of their resort properties, Celebrity Resorts filed for Chapter 13 and closed my wedding venue. After weeks of trying to get my refund back, I was told that it was being processed and I could expect it in 45 days. After 45 days I called again, and was told that I had been lied to, and that they did not know if I would get my money back. These people are the scum of the earth. I only plan to have one wedding in my lifetime, and they stole $1000 of my wedding budget. This happened to me, and to at least five other brides at this particular location. For the sake of solidarity, please do not patronize their establishment. If they are willing to ruin my wedding, they will be willing to make off with your money and ruin your vacation.

When we checked in, we immediately smelled stale heavy smoke. A complete deal breaker for this family of non-smokers! The condo was listed as non-smoking but clearly had been smoked in A LOT. After contacting the owner, we were fully refunded, but had nowhere to go. With a car full of groceries just purchased on the way in town, we reached out to Coastal Realty with a desperate cry for help. Patty's soothing, kind, and professional voice told us to come to her office, and she would find us a place to stay. She let us go visit a couple of places that were good options but not exactly what we were looking for. But she didn't stop there. She made a call to another C. R. associate who told us to come to her office. Already knowing our back story, she said she had the perfect place for us. She walked us into a recently remodeled condo that was gorgeous!! It was better than we could have imagined, especially considering it was 4:30 on a Wednesday afternoon. We are so thankful for the extra effort and professional treatment we received from 3 agents at Coastal Realty. They all went above and beyond their call of duty. Patty for getting the ball rolling, Peyton for getting us into a beautiful condo, and for Dee getting our WiFi issues resolved!! Financial statements were always late, several times the association credit card was not paid, did not follow up on overcharges by the waste company, etc. in addition, several times the posting of notices of upcoming meetings was not done. in the end, the last month they basically didn't care much.

This was clearly false but it was an easy way for them to charge us for something no one can prove after we already left. 4. They charged us over $2,000 in move out fees. Highly Unprofessional and Disrespectful Staff - Do Not Recommend…read more I called the guard gate due to a short-term legal issue asking them to not let my builder in until resolved. The guard asked me to please call or email the HOA staff because she did not want them to get mad at her since they have done in the past. Why would a security guard be afraid of the HOA - only if the Southern States Management staff is not treating their employees with respect and with civility. Note the HOA staff are all Caucasian and the guard gate staff are almost all minorities so I cannot imagine someone being scared to do their job. I did as the guard gate asked and below is the exact response from Craig Nisbett. Note he works for the homeowners, we pay his salary and his company to manage our HOA. Nobody should respond in such a manner anyone; I cannot imagine how he speaks to the guards for them to be afraid of him. If anyone in business spoke this way to a peer or client they would be fired and he should be fired too given he did not do his due diligence nor does he have any Emotional Intelligence. Craig's Disrespectful and unprofessional response is below and he is nothing more than an email bully: "You need to contact the gatehouse and manage your own access. SSMG does not manage individual visitor/builder access into Hammock Dunes. I also don't appreciate us being put in the middle of your builder contract disputes!"

This is an excellent place to stay. The condos are spacious and clean. They all have patios or…read morebalconies or both. Lots of space to enjoy the outdoors. What makes this place unique is the beautiful tropical gardens. The down side is that it does not have a heated pool. All through the winter months ,the pool is unusable except for the most hardy. Also, if you have any trouble with mobility you will have great difficulty getting to the beach because there is a huge sand dune that you must climb over to get to the beach. There are two tennis courts and a hot tub. Many other resorts have more amenities. We give SeaWinds 5 stars for its excellent location, close to restaurants and shopping, beautiful gardens, ponds and wildlife, convenience of condos with garages and driveways. The pros far outweigh the cons.
