The manager said "this is the first time everything has come together so quickly- your my first choice from now on! That first experience has lead to years of good experiences. I have worked with many different property managers on many different properties! The company is efficient at getting jobs done, has friendly hardworking staff and is organized. Carefully selected staff means there's not a huge turnover rate. So you get accustomed to dealing with the same few people year after year. Communication is excellent through email, via phone & in some cases even personal numbers for emergencies or concerns. They pay their bills in a timely manner unlike many other property management companies (we deal with perhaps a dozen different companies). This company is concerned about making their clients happy, satisfied or working out solutions. I've also had the opportunity to work with the owner on many occasions. For owning such a large company it's nice to have someone who is so busy take time to discuss what's important or necessary to you. You will not be disappointed hiring this company to manage your property. I'm very happy to give them a 5rating!

The owner of May Management bought a house in a residential neighborhood, and pretended to be the…read morenew neighbor. She then quickly turned it to an Airbnb commercial unit. May Management sent out a photographer to take pictures of the commercial unit, and she purposely took pictures to include our private residence on the world wide website. We live in an area that is somewhat secluded, and liked it that way. Suddenly, our home is on view to anyone who clicks on the site! We asked the owner, nearly three years ago, to crop out our private home from her ad, but she will not do so. Airbnb will also not help. They are purposely using our private residence in their commercial ad, effecting our privacy. There is plenty of space to crop out our home, which would only take a couple of minutes. Now, besides Airbnb, they have placed all the same ads on the Utopia vacation rental website as well. They just don't give a damn.

Most of my neighbors have been wonderful over the years, always ready to give a helping hand if needed. I can't imagine living anywhere else. You'll never find an affordable little paradise on the beach like Sea Colony and if you don't agree, you shouldn't be here. When we checked in, we immediately smelled stale heavy smoke. A complete deal breaker for this family of non-smokers! The condo was listed as non-smoking but clearly had been smoked in A LOT. After contacting the owner, we were fully refunded, but had nowhere to go. With a car full of groceries just purchased on the way in town, we reached out to Coastal Realty with a desperate cry for help. Patty's soothing, kind, and professional voice told us to come to her office, and she would find us a place to stay. She let us go visit a couple of places that were good options but not exactly what we were looking for. But she didn't stop there. She made a call to another C. R. associate who told us to come to her office. Already knowing our back story, she said she had the perfect place for us. She walked us into a recently remodeled condo that was gorgeous!! It was better than we could have imagined, especially considering it was 4:30 on a Wednesday afternoon. We are so thankful for the extra effort and professional treatment we received from 3 agents at Coastal Realty. They all went above and beyond their call of duty. Patty for getting the ball rolling, Peyton for getting us into a beautiful condo, and for Dee getting our WiFi issues resolved!! I learned my lesson, and from now on I will not hesitate to recommend and use Coastal Realty.

The reason was "interference " as we wanted to draft our…read moreown budget, have a say in the hiring and firing of maintenance personnel, and generally have a hand on what was being done with our property. Financial statements were always late, several times the association credit card was not paid, did not follow up on overcharges by the waste company, etc. in addition, several times the posting of notices of upcoming meetings was not done. in the end, the last month they basically didn't care much.

We all moved into SWO because of the way it was kept up, and the feel of the neighborhood. That will not continue due to the lack of upkeep for some of the homes. Some homeowners feel "singled out", but this is not the case. If any homeowner is experiencing problems that make the upkeep of their home difficult, all they have to do is contact the office, and these extenuating circumstances will be communicated to the board. It really seems simple: we all moved into a beautiful, well maintained neighborhood, and we should want to keep it that way.

They didn't pay my pay, billed to me in my name, but charged me for it. Becky aka (Mary) is rude and unprofessional. Emailed me someone else's intent to not renew their lease. And the guy that act as their courier for late rent notices, plasters the notice on your door with ALL OF YOUR INFORMATION showing. I keep kindly asked him more than once to not do that. However, he still did it and would show up for inspections hours before scheduled time. Please do your research before doing business with this company. Highly Unprofessional and Disrespectful Staff - Do Not Recommend…read more I called the guard gate due to a short-term legal issue asking them to not let my builder in until resolved. The guard asked me to please call or email the HOA staff because she did not want them to get mad at her since they have done in the past. Why would a security guard be afraid of the HOA - only if the Southern States Management staff is not treating their employees with respect and with civility. Note the HOA staff are all Caucasian and the guard gate staff are almost all minorities so I cannot imagine someone being scared to do their job. I did as the guard gate asked and below is the exact response from Craig Nisbett. Note he works for the homeowners, we pay his salary and his company to manage our HOA. Nobody should respond in such a manner anyone; I cannot imagine how he speaks to the guards for them to be afraid of him. If anyone in business spoke this way to a peer or client they would be fired and he should be fired too given he did not do his due diligence nor does he have any Emotional Intelligence. Craig's Disrespectful and unprofessional response is below and he is nothing more than an email bully: "You need to contact the gatehouse and manage your own access. SSMG does not manage individual visitor/builder access into Hammock Dunes. I also don't appreciate us being put in the middle of your builder contract disputes!"
