After not having much luck selling it on my own, I decided to contact a few different used car companies. After meeting with a few establishments that really did not impress or appeal to me at all, I finally found Cash for Cars Incorporated (also known as E Mecca Auto Sales). When I first called them they were very honest with me and told me exactly what I needed to do to sell my car. They didn't try to force me into anything and I didn't feel like I was being rushed or pressured at all. I was given a reasonable quote over the phone and when I finally came down to their lot, they came right out to my car and went over all the details with me step by step. They took their time with me and made me feel like I was their most important customer. The cash offer they made me on my truck was very reasonable and they gave me cash right on the spot! The whole process could not have been easier, and the majority of the time I spent there was spent just chatting with the guys on the lot. Everyone I dealt with was extremely friendly and they all made me feel very welcome and appreciated. I know that selling a car can be a difficult and stressful thing to take care of, but the guys here make it simple and fun. I never thought I'd be able to sell my truck for cash on the same day, and I never thought it would have been as easy as it was. I will definitely do business with them again in the future, and I w ill be sure to tell my friends about it. I highly suggest Cash for Cars, and I am proud to be writing this review. If you need to sell your car, truck, van, or SUV and you want cash on the SAME day, this is the only place to go. Going anywhere else is just a waste of time and money. Rick M.

He wouldn't even speak further about pricing considering the truck we were looking at wound up being a piece of crap. If you want a used car, buy a bike from Walmart before talking to these clowns!

Tony Moretti greeted us in the parking lot as we were looking at a Jeep Cherokee. We decided to buy it and were informed the vehicle had an oil change and was maintenanced. When we test drove the car, I noticed only one key. I inquired about the second and Tony said that it was probably available but they wouldn't have it until the plates came in. He told us if they didn't, they would cut us a new one. Ok, no problem! Tony completed the lease agreement at their used lot and fortunately gave me a signed copy. He informed us of the Powertrain Warranty which was to be included. I'm glad he wrote it down on the lease! They did not have the ability to process the paperwork at their location so he drove us up to Johnson Dodge. At JD, they told us they couldn't get us in our price range so we increased our down payment as much as we could but it still wasn't enough to get us within budget. Strange, but it wasn't too bad, so be it. They had us sign off on the lease through a digital pad so the numbers weren't visible for us to see but the only change made from point A to point B was the increase in the down payment. When we left the lot, I noticed the maintenance message said the car needed an oil change. Maybe they forgot to reset the message? Fast forward two weeks. We received our first statement. I noticed the principal balance seemed rather high considering our down payment was a third of the cost. This prompted me to pull the paperwork from the dealership. To our surprise, they tacked on $3000 for the Powertrain Warranty!! What the...?! I immediately call them to find out the story. I spoke to Tom, who told me that the lender required us to purchase the warranty in order to approve us for the loan. He also claimed they wanted to charge an 8% interest rate, and in order to get a better rate, we had to purchase the warranty. That didn't make any sense so of course I confirm that information with the lender, which to no surprise, ended up being a total lie. If it was valid, why would they not have said something sooner? We called them out on it and faught tooth and nail to get them to fix the issue. They finally agreed to cut a check and pay down the balance but it would take a few weeks. Now I'm paying interest on the $3000! Finally, when the plates came in, we inquired about the key again. They told us there wasn't a second key and that we would have to pay $300 for it! Seriously??!! Not to mention, during the battle we kept addressing the oil change situation and they wouldn't even acknowledge it. Of course this was the least of my concerns. Since they were unwilling to help, I made a call to John Johnson himself to fill him in on our experience. Fortunately, he made it right. I went back in and they drew up a new loan, putting us back into our initial price range, and cut me the second key I was promised. At this point, I asked the girl in the service department if an oil change had ever been done to the car. She looked it up in the system and confirmed it did NOT. So I asked her if they did oil changes to the used cars. Her response was yes. So I asked if mine would be done too. She told me they have a coupon for a $20 oil change!! Seriously?!?! I'll go down the road and spend $40 for an oil change out of principle. So my advice to anyone reading this, go to the Honda dealership. PS I should mention they bribe people for reviews... hence all the "good" ratings. Don't be fooled. I was offered $50 to write a favorable review. Glad I waited.

I live out of town, so, after a little online research, I reached out to Rockaway Service due to their 5-star reviews. When I inquired as to the cost of plugging a slow leak, I was told there was no charge as it was a service they perform for free. I was taken aback. No charge? Naturally, I had my mom drop the car off. Pat and Dan were very nice. A short time later Dan called me to discuss an issue with the sub-frame. My mom's vehicle is a Jeep Compass - subframe rotting out is a well-known and common issue. I was actually already aware of this on my mom's car and had been keeping an eye on it for the last year or so, knowing it would need to be replaced at some point. Dan texted me photos of the current condition with his recommendation that I not put it off any longer. The photos he took while the car was up on the lift showed the rotting had progressed much further than I could see from my vantage point with the vehicle on the ground. I grew up working on cars my entire life: My father was a huge do-it-yourselfer, so I know my way around an automobile. I know if I'm being spoken to honestly or not. I was trying to hold off because it could be a pricey repair, but Dan was correct - I could not put it off any longer. We made arrangements to bring the car back in a week. My mom dropped off her car to get the repair done and they actually drove her to work - unfortunately, the repair took a little longer than expected (as these things sometimes tend to do - it happens) so they picked her up at the end of the day and drove her home! Knowing my mom needed the car (she a senior widow, living alone), Dan stayed late the next night, finishing the repairs and then he personally delivered the car to my mom at her house! Who does that? Both Dan, Pat and even Denise (the woman that answered the phone) were all pleasant and professional. They went above and beyond what I would consider to be "normal" service. My mom is ecstatic about how much better the car drives and I'm very happy with the pricing. I think everyone can agree that it's very difficult to find a mechanic you can trust, and cold-calling one like I did here was a gamble. But it was a gamble that I'm glad to say paid off. I can't say enough good things about the way they treated both my mom and me. I know I tend to be overly wordy sometimes... but this time it's warranted. I just wish I lived closer to them, as, based on this experience, and the way they treated us as a first-time customer, would be very confident having them service my entire families' vehicles. I have no qualms or reservations about recommending them. Thanks, Guys! Brian Dowling
